Great cakes and breakfast

Went there twice on a 5-day stay in Berlin and would come back again. Really good cakes (specially the Apple strudel) and breakfast (I had the “special sandwich”). Great coffee with oat milk, wide selection of tea. The place is super cozy and the staff is very friendly even if you don’t speak german. I certainly reccomend it!!

Pros: Apple strudel

Cons: Maybe a bit pricey but it’s worth it

Nice place for breakkie

Don't let you fool by the three stars! The options were quite plenty and the food was deliciuos. I had qunoa with almonds, warm berries and maple syrup plus a large coffee and a large piece (!) of cherry Streusel cake. The portions are big, considering the prices. I also like the sitting area outside and the staff was nice.

I think there could be more options though, not only quinoa and bread. But the cake was heaven!!

Pros: Delicious cake, Calm area to sit down for a while

Cons: More options would be lovely

Love this place!

I come back here every time Im in Berlin! We had a great breakfast. I had the Tofu breakfast that had some cashew nuts, great sweet and souer sauce. My non vegan (yet diabetic) dad had some cheese breakfast which he loved. Highly recommeded. an amazing home like design!

Mediocre food/ good cakes

The normal menue is a bit boring, at the food is really plain. But the cakes are just to die for.

Yoghurt breakfast

Went here for breakfast, our first choice hadn’t opened yet and we were too hungry to find someplace else. We had coffee and the yoghurt with grains and fruits and syrup, nothing amazing but it was good. Sat outside with our dogs, they were given a bowl of water :)

Pros: Dog friendly (at least outdoors)

Supernice German place!

I went here with my omni-boyfriend and we were both very satisfied. We could both have a German food experience. I had the potatos with mushsrooms and he could eat meatloaf. For dessert we had a delishous pice of pear cake. Super friendly staff. If you ask, they have an english menu.

Pros: Great for both vegans, vegetarians and meateaters, Friendly staff

Cons: A bit of a walk from the city centre (but worth it

Good food

I didn't go there for the breakfast so I can't rate that. I had the Tofu with veggies and a piece of cake which was nice. But for the portion it could have been a bit cheaper but it was still ok.

Pros: Great cosy atmosphere , Nice staff, Many vegan options

Tucked away treat

Vegan breakfast was an interesting experience, bread was lovely and filled with nuts, seeds and carrot. Came with a selection of fruit and vegetables plus 4 spreads (savoury), of which the pesto was my favourite. Accompanied by a small bowl of granola with soy milk. Great start to the day!

Pros: Lots of choice

Cons: Need a bigger table!!!

Eastern German Vegan Style

Many (!) vegan options incl. very good home fries (Bratkartoffeln), excellent plum crumble cake, salads, bread w/ different spreads, etc.. One cross street away f/ major tourist spot = subway stop 'Hackescher Markt'.
Do not be offended by the Easter German somewhat 'rough' and direct style / attitude of the owners: This is a regional and normal thing and probably just quite unusual for people from the U.S. Do not worry, the (female) owners are cool and friendly.
Food is fresh and good. Design of restaurant maybe more for people over 50 but at least it's 100% hipster & yuppie free, so hey!
No smoothies, yet different juice mixes.
You can bring any person to this restaurant: It s quiet, central, "neutral" and has nice outdoor seating. Across the street is the Jewish High School; the huge Berlin synagogue is also close by.

Pros: Peaceful, German style vegan, "Neutral"/"normal"

Bratkartoffeln with pork?

I ordered Bratkartoffeln and when I was eating I realized there was a trace of pork meat.... the waitress knew I was vegan, she seemed annoyed of it.
not coming back

Cons: not vegan friendly. even tho there is a menu.
