Gushan, halfway up Drum Hill in Yongquan Temple, Fuzhou, China

鼓山涌泉寺, at 鼓山风景区涌泉寺内, serves vegetarian food as well as fresh flowers and herbs teas in a pot that has a 2-foot long spout. Order dinners based on your party size and appetite, and servers will you a variety of appetizers and entrees, some of which are made from tofu and gluten. Hike, take the cable car or drive to the restaurant.

beautiful scenery, great taste but not cheap - Edit

If you are already in the area visiting the temple and you want to try some tasty food, I think it's worth the visit. I don't recommend though just to go all the way there to eat. Because first it's a long drive from the city center, then the temple entrance fee is 40 rmb and then once you order the food, its expensive, we paid 137 rmb for the 3 dishes listed. That said they did taste yummy. In the winter it can be alittle cold due to no heating, summer is cool though.

Pros: lots of good options, beautiful area and restaurant

Cons: very expensive

this is not 100% vegan restaurant but lacto-vegetarian. They put cream on the top of fruit jelly. Soup and rice is vegan.
