Affordable food

Standard small vegetarian casual restaurant. The two servers were very kind to us, despite our lack of local language abilities. This was a great, cheap option for our late lunch.

Pros: Affordable food, good-sized portion, Friendly service

Traditional Taiwanese style meal spot

永緣素食餐館 is their name, everything here is vegan😄and something very interesting is that they even have the Thailand style papaya salad (raw vegan) , and sweet and sour soup, which is not very typical Taiwanese style. But they have stinky tofu !!!!!!!! Wahahahahahahaha a must try lol

Good value bufet

Had rice, a fake meat ball and 4 side dishes which I asked the owner to choose for me. Her English was good enough to explain how it all worked.

The food was decent and really good value for money. Nothing special but a good quick local spot to have a cheap filling meal.

Great, authentic, cheap food

Very authentic food, all vegan, very tasty and extremely good value. There is no English menu and the staff do not speak English, but they are very friendly and read Chinese from your phone translation app. There is an option translated by Google as "bento", where you get a heap of rice, a topping, for example vegan pork or fish, and then choose up to four side dishes from a big selection. You can just point and they know what you mean. All in all, we were very happy here.

Just what’s needed

Above average for these types of places with very friendly staff.

Oily

My first disappointing meal in the veggie heaven that is Taipei! I ate from the buffet and everything was just a bit bland and soggy. Greasy, too. The service was a little impatient seeing as we were the only people there.

Pros: Lots of options

Cons: Greasy

Great local place!

These local establishments are my favourite places. I mean...when in Taiwan, right? It was explained to me that I could choose what to eat and how many dishes. Cute little eatery where I got to sit at a small table out the front and enjoy the view of passers by. The food was enjoyable.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, reasonably priced

Cons: The mock meat did taste real which worried me

Tasty food for reasonable price

The food was tasty and good but nothing really special. Regardless I would recommend this place.
The staff was a little bit hectic and we did not have a lot time to think about what we want. We ordered everything by orally and they did not tell us the price at the beginning. They only told us that we could get per person 1x rice, 1x fake meat, 4x veggies. We were two persons and for one plate we payed 90NT$ and for the other one 75NT$. The stinky tofu was 40NT$.

Pros: fake meat was good, variety of veggies, still friendly staff

Cons: staff did not speak a lot of english, the price was not really clear at the beginning, Felt a little bit pushed
