Still our favourite spot in Queenstown - Edit
Yonder had a great range of vegan options for brunch, lunch and dinner. A good vibe, lovely spots inside and outside depending on weather. A clear menu with gluten-free options as well. The pancakes were delicious but massive!

Good breakfast, lots of vegan options - Edit
The blueberry pancakes were a dream! Lovely arrangement and tasty. All the different textures and flavours worked very well. Unfortunately I found the coffee a bit sour.

good options, very loud though - Edit
We liked the different options! Prices are reasonable as well. The vegan chicken wasn’t available, the server said it was being prepared in the kitchen and not ready yet, even though it was like 4 p.m.
Read moreThe crispy tofu taco was good, the tofu tasted a bit starchy though. The vegan bao was good, but the bun was black and the menu didn’t mention charcoal (or we just didn’t see it). The music is very loud so it’s not for you, if you want to have a cozy chat!
Pros: Good options, Good prices
Cons: Very loud and noisy, Some items not available

Great options - reasonably priced - Edit
Pretty great selection, got some tasty options, I usually expect to spend about $30 on food and got the crispy tofu bao, crispy miso tofu taco, and the vegan chicken taco ($29) but I was actually feeling full after the first 2
Read moreLoved the bao, texture was good and it was super tasty
The consistency tofu taco was crunchier than expected and the tofu itself was pretty bland on its own but the taco as a whole was good
The vegan chicken taco was my favourite, fake chicken texture was good and flavour was super tasty however the vegan chicken taco is vegetarian because it has ranch but can be made vegan - I did miss this personally
As a bonus the team was super lovely
Pros: Tasty , Reasonably priced , Good amount of vegan and vegetarian options
Cons: Tofu (in tofu taco) lacking flavour

Okay - no protein - Edit
We were happy that there were heaps of options, and they were nice, however they did not add any additional protein source. For example the vegan burger had mushroom and sweet potato which was nice but not every filling.

Cons: Not that inspiring / satiating

Good food but… - Edit
2024 update:
Read moreIt’s great for healthy vegan & gluten free options and the food is tasty. But here are annoying things about Yonder:
• Hard to have a catch-up with friends over lunch here as they insist on playing loud music that impedes relaxed conversation.
• When I came in Nov 2024 they had 3 local kombucha options on the menu, none of which were actually available
• They insist on sprinkling seeds on almost every vegan dish, which add nothing to the flavor and just get stuck in your teeth.
• The “Good Greens” dish had broccoli with yellow and brown florets - not fresh and unsightly, I would not cook broccoli like this at home, let alone serve it to paying customers.
2021 review: It’s a cool place for brunch and for people watching. But it’s also very popular and can be difficult to find seating and/or servers. We waited forever to get menus for example.
The food was good, the vegan butty looked delish. The tofu scramble was a bit less impressive. Would go back to try the other vegan dishes.

Great Place for Brunch - Edit
I really enjoyed this place. There were a decent number of options and they were clearly marked on the menu. On the online menu you also have the option to filter by dietary requirement, which makes it even easier. The food was a little expensive, but it was worth it as it tasted amazing.

Decent vegan options - Edit
We came here several times during our stay in Queenstown. They have a few good options for breakfast including pancakes, muffins and a vegan breakfast butty. Also, their coffee was really good with several plant milk choices.

Yummy but Oily/Greasy - Edit
We both ordered and enjoyed our vegan Butty’s- amazing flavours but much too oily for me😒Oil or grease, it was all over my fingers and soaked in the bun, on the plate… Partner was fine with hers but if you’ve got a sensitive stomach be cautious, I had a rough night 🥲 Bright-side, lots of options and ways to make dishes vegan there, but not worth the risk if you’re sensitive to oil / grease in food.

Just too much - Edit
I went there during a time when they were only serving small plates. It has a reasonable vegan selection and it is clearly indicated.
Read moreThey use real food and the description of dishes great.
The falafels were undercooked (and drowned in oil). Good Greens were okay. Hasselback beetroot was swimming in a pool of oil and the accompanying white sauce was overly garlicky. The after-taste (of one day old garlic) motivated me to submit the post.
I would have mentioned it to the staff, but they were just too cool for school to care.
Pros: vegan options, clearly indicated , use real food ingredients
Cons: too much oil!!, too much garlic, undercooked falafels
