Located in the Central Mall shopping centre basement level food court. Menu is descriptive and offers a range of dishes using different mock meats and vegetables. All of the Thai dishes are vegan. The Italian dishes are lacto vegetarian. No egg or msg used. Move here from Rat Uthit 200 Yr Rd. Confirmed closed, April 21.

Good Vegan Restaurant - Edit
The restaurant is located in a mall with other options around but it really stands out among st them. A vegan restaurant around all the non-vegetarian restaurants and still going strong😄We tried their Pineapple rice and the taste was good. However we felt the pineapple pieces were cut in big pieces. It could have been cut in smaller size. Also the rice was very sweet (I understand it is a pineapple rice). It could be made less sweet😄

After reading the reviews, we were very excited to come here. I’m not sure whether there’s been a drop on quality since the move to the mall, but the food really wasn’t that great. The number of options were very different and minimal compared to what is shown in other diners photos. We had the Pad Thai and flat noodles with veg. Both very bland, with no flavour and definitely not worth the cost that we paid. Portion sizes were also poor for what we paid.

Considering the limited vegan options in Patong, it’s nice to have a fully vegan place. But I can’t say I’d recommend this place at all.

I almost gave up after searching around the restaurant for 30mins. To order food from Yo Vegan, you have to sit down at the Central Food Hall restaurant at Basement level 1, then you can order food from various “stalls” , so one of the stalls is Yo Vegan. I went there for 2 nights coz I wanna try all the dishes! It is slightly more expensive than other normal dish but you can’t find other options in Patong.

It is refreshing to have Yo Vegan in Thailand (meat lovers paradise). It’s nice to have local thai dishes (veg version) without worrying about (Thai Fish Sauce)😄The soy fried chicken was surprisingly good.

We shared the spring rolls, veggie noodles with tofu, and the cashew nut soy protein dish. All vegan and all tasty, especially the cashew one. It's in a food court so you can order from any of the places in the vicinity, but this seems to be the only vegan/veggie one. Wasn't amazing but a decent option around here.

The waitress said all food contain egg and dairy, being that is written vegan in the name of the restaurant I ask her to ask the chef and he answer the same thing to her. She did not offer options and dishes were they could substitute ex. Curry without milk, noodles without stir fry egg on it. That’s so easy to do in a Vegetarian restaurant. I would give one star, did not eat there because of it.

Good for tourists. The location is 7.8924303, 98.2981364 which is more accurate than on listing. The restaurant is part of a mixed food hall below a plush shopping mall the menu is an iPad with various sections serving many food bars. Yo Vegan is the only vegan-veggie section. Because many food bars are on the same iPad menu the non veggies in your group can order top meat fish meals which are fulfilled by the relevant bar but all from the same waiters and same bill. It is a good fusion of many kitchens in one restaurant.

Cheap old fake meat etc. Tastes fine. Price is high but expected in Patong. You'll enjoy it at least the first two times you go and there are loads of options. It's just kind of meh once you've been a few times like I have.

So glad to have Happy Cow to guide us to this restaurant in a quiet alley off Bangla Road. It’s down the end on the right. We splurged and ordered the fried balls with mushroom, spicy duck curry, massaman curry and pad see ew. Average price per dish around 120-150B. Open from 12 Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, Sat and 1pm Sun - closed Wed.
