Vegan friendly option close to Norwich - Edit
No longer part of the same chain that has the Dereham branch Yim Siam is well worth a visit, almost all dishes cna be prepared veggie or even vegan, with superb tofu and mock duck alternatives. Clearly Quorn uses egg and I would discourage. Superb value, pleasant and cozy atmosphere, this is a bit of an oasis in an otherwise unispiring shopping precinct next to Roys of Wroxham. Small lunch menu but very extensive evening menus. Charming and responsive owner, well worth a visit. Enjoy!

Fine Thai food with good veggie options - Edit
This restaurant is a gem in the veggie desert that is the Norfolk Broads. Lovely proprietor, great ambience and sensational food and plenty of choice as much of the menu is available with quorn, mock duck, tofu or nuts.
Pros: excellent food, tasteful decor, friendly owner
Cons: smallish portions, quite expensive
