You have to make sure to order food the Greek way, just get 1.5 to 2 times as many dishes as people and share them, and you will be golden.

It’s a lovely location with friendly staff and was very useful when we needed dinner at midnight, but honestly the food wasn’t great. The chickpea tomato dish was much too sweet and the tart crust very hard. It was fine though and nice to see Vs on the menu

I was here twice, first just for a frappe and the second time for dinner. The portion sizes were okay, but not too big. Prices were decent too. I guess they specialize in desserts over savory. I had the vegan vegetable tart and my friend had the cheese pie with bacon, which were both served with a side salad - they were nice, but nothing spectacular. We were seated inside and the waitresses kept forgetting that we were inside - while ordering and while paying, although they seemed to be nice (to be fair, I guess they were overwhelmed by the crowd on the rooftop). Will try the desserts if I'm there again.

We would give 5 stars if we could! This place was so cute and cozy inside, with a great atmosphere outside on the steps as well. We ate here three times, and it was great every time. The menu is very clearly marked and the staff is knowledgable about veganism. We had the vegetable tart, chickpeas in tomato and rosemary, and the chocolate tart. Some people smoke on the steps, but it's outside in Greece, so not out of the ordinary. It was some of the best food we had in Athens, definitely check it out!

Loved the place - it’s the kind you would give 5 stars if you could. Really beautiful space packed full of young locals creating a buzz and enjoying the food. Smallish menu with some fantastic vegan options. Really the best food I ate while in Athens.

- Only about 6ish vegan things on the menu (some of which we’re not available when we were there).
- The dolmades were dry and super-basic - seemed like they could have come from a can.
- The rice in the yemista (stuffed tomatoes and capsicum) was literally crunchy and in no way cooked. Basically inedible.
- The Greek Salad was just some vegetables dressed with some salt and nothing else - not even a splash of olive oil.
Seemed like the chefs couldn’t care less what their food tasted like - really disappointing.

This multi-room restaurant also offers seating on the outside stairway. It's not worth a special trip, but the food is simple and quick if you're nearby.

Well worth the visit if you go to the Acropolis - Edit
We went to Yiasemi for morning tea after our visit to the Acropolis. It was just what we needed - iced coffees ( freddo), chocolate pie, and Halva. The sweets were lovely - not overly sweet.

I came d’or dinner. I really enjoyed the amount of al fresco seating on the rooftop, stairs, and terrace. It’s a lovely restaurant, especially after dark on a warm night. The food is good, but a bit pricey compared to other restaurants. Come for the atmosphere and ambiance, but know you’re paying a bit extra.

We loved this little restaurant. Finding vegan food in Athens isn't particularly easy, and although this restaurant is not even vegetarian, it does have a large number of vegetarian choices and enough vegan ones to be able to go there a couple of times and eat from a selection of different plates each time. The setting is really picturesque, it's on a narrow street made of steps up the hillside, which is pretty much all filled with small restaurants with chairs and tables out on the steps, and there is colour, food, music and twinkling fairy lights all the way up. We were there in February and it was a bit chilly for sitting out in the evening, but it's really pretty inside the restaurant too, with a lovely open fire to warm yourself by. The food there is small plates that are very cheap, so you can order a number to share. It's tasty, the staff are friendly, all the ingredients for a perfect meal out.

Read moreOn the menu it states really clearly which dishes are vegan or vegetarian and which ones aren’t.
The only think I recommend is not ordering everything at once because they brought our desert before we were even finished with what we took for starters (and because it was a small table we had to eat really fast so we could stack our plates to make place so everthing would fit on are table).
Pros: Cheap , Friendly staff
Cons: Not a lot of space, Kind of long waiting if you go at a busy moment

We had a piece of the chocolate tart, which was okay (has banana in it which I didn’t expect. This was my favorite dining experience in Athens, because of the food and lovely atmosphere. They have multiple rooms with quaint decor and Amélie vibes.
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Extremely cute interior, Has seating outside on the famous steps
