Honestly, nothing was good, except our server

It seems like they just put this menu together for the sake of having a vegan menu. Nothing was thought out.

The hot tofu bowl was literally unmarinated tofu steaks topped with a salad dressed in a sour vinaigrette. What?!?! So weird.

The spaghetti bolognese was bland and the raspberry cheesecake was super grainy. Not worth the price. Really regret wasting my time and money - this place ain’t cheap or worth it!

Pros: Great server

Cons: Expensive, Bland food (horrible vegan menu)

Small but Good

originally knew it was going to not be cheap due to it being in the four seasons of course, which was correct, but still was so good, portions were a bit small but it was all very fresh and still was filled. Also the baguette is vegan! so ask for it instead of the original bread given! bolognese was amazing!

Pros: separate menu, good service, cheesecake was delicious

Cons: Expensive

Separate vegan menu

They have a separate vegan menu with really nice foods. I really like the tofu dish. Everything is made with distinguishable quality.

Pros: Vegan menu, Tasty

gone downhill

Unfortunately, while Yew continues to have a separate vegan menu (thank you!!!), the quality of the food has diminished. I used to go here often, but my last two dining experiences were a letdown. Simply not good value for the money, and not that interesting when it comes to the dishes anymore.

Pricy but tasty

Yew is a great spot for a classy meal. It has Four Seasons prices of course, but the vegan menu is fairly extensive and the options are all tasty. I was most excited that they have a vegan cheesecake since it's often the case that non-veg restaurants don't bother coming up with a vegan dessert option. The cheesecake was both pretty and yummy, complete with fresh raspberries and aquafaba meringue.

A "Four Seasons" Experience

We ordered just about the entire items on their vegan menu (yes, they have a separate vegan menu) and loved every bite. Service and ambiance were well, "Four Seasons".

A bit too salty on a couple of entrees but other than that all yummy!

The only downside of our dinner tonight was...
NO room for their cheesecake.

Pros: A dedicated vegan menu - really cool!

Cons: None!

tasty vegan choices

Has an amazing vegan menu. We ordered one of everything and loved it all. The pasta with cashew cream and the vegan chocolate torte were both exceptional.

Wonderful

Had dinner here our last night of vacation. Have to ask for the separate vegan menu... but no issues, it was brought right over.

Very very good food, and being at the Four Seasons... the service was absolutely spot on.

They had vegan bread ready to snack on, and brought us vegan dark chocolate after dinner. Just a great overall experience.

Pros: Delicious food, Beautiful interior, Top tier service

Cons: Expensive, but should be no surprise., Very small menu, but less is more?

One of the best

Menu seems to have less options than when I was there a year ago. But still, it's a fantastic vegan dining experience.

Also, the grilled vegan bread is some of the best I've ever had.

Separate vegan menu with good variety of options

I was thrilled to find out my hotel had a vegan menu. I tried various things on the menu and enjoyed them all.

nice to sit down to a nice meal

It can be hard to find a nice sit down restaurant for vegan options beyond a salad. Yew has a dedicated vegan menu and is a nice place to eat. It's great to bust away from the cafés and markets and dine out. Great food.

Pros: vegan menu, nice atmosphere, sit down dining

Cons: not cheap

A great addition for Vancouver vegans

I took an omnivorous friend to YEW for lunch. I started with the tacos which were very rich and tasty and beautifully presented. I then had the roasted vegetable sandwich with salad (also tasty, but not as 'high end' as I would have expected at YEW) and finished with a coconut pana cotta with pineapple and quinoa which tasted very nice. I'm already booked to return for lunch and will try other items. I'd definitely like to try dinner and would recommend it to both vegans and omnivores.

Pros: excellent food, friendly staff, beautiful room

Cons: can be noisy, a little pricey

Fancy vegan food!

I went here for lunch. We had truffle mac&cheese, vegetable curry (which is actually not just vegetable curry, it has chick peas in it), and tacos. They were all really good.

I don't really like truffles, so I don't think I would order the mac&cheese again, but I understand that it makes it more fancy, and that lots of people do like truffle flavour.

The curry was really good, and the tacos were also very tasty. I would definitely take omnivorous family and friends here on special occasions. I also look forward to trying the saffron risotto on the dinner menu. The only bad part was the waiter insisted on telling us about the steak sandwich special even though we had already asked for vegan menus!
