Cute little lunch spot - Edit
This is a small restaurant attached to a cute gift shop and I believe an art studio. It's a cozy and inviting atmosphere with friendly service.
Read moreI ordered the toasted veggie sandwich and thought it was delicious. My husband got the crunchy quinoa salad. He had asked in advance if it had cilantro and was told it didn't, but unfortunately she was mistaken as there must have been a bit mixed in with the greens. The bites of the salad that didn't have cilantro were delicious, but the presence of cilantro ruined the meal for him. So be careful what you order if you are sensitive to cilantro.
Pros: Tasty food, Friendly, Cute shop next door
Cons: Unexpected cilantro

Pleasing, But Freezing - Edit
I ordered the Crunchy Quinoa Salad, which includes edamame, broccoli, quinoa, purple cabbage, and microgreens tossed in a Thai-inspired cashew ginger dressing. It was simple, but flavorful. The lack of music and customers created an odd quietness. It was very cold inside, but maybe they hadn't turned the heat on yet.

A great discovery - Edit
I noticed this place when Cycling south on North Vancouver. They weren't open yet.
Read moreLater, when I was looking for a spot to go for lunch I didn't find them listed on Happy Cow but there were some favorable reviews on Google so I headed over there.
I had a collard wrap. It was fresh and the contents were well put together. This was the gluten-free option. You can get a flour tortilla wrap instead.
But the sauce they make in-house was excellent.
It was 10$ which was a reasonable price to pay. I was hungry and it didn't fill me up (I tend to eat quite a lot of food).
I will revisit this place again over the next few weeks.
The restaurant was fairly small but comfortable and the owner, Emily, was a great conversationalist and interesting to talk with.
Check it out.
As their sign says plant-powered.
Vegan food.
