Ok, but didn’t live up to the rave reviews. - Edit
We went for lunch and had bean goulash (fine) and chicken paprikash. They were very accommodating as we asked for extra protein (which turned out to be rehydrated TVP). They food was ok, but nothing spectacular. We got two desserts (carrot cake, pretty good, and a chocolate tart, pretty good too). The oat milk latte was not great - burning hot and the milk had separated from being over steamed. For the price we paid, it was a bit underwhelming. Good in a pinch, but wouldn’t go back if I had other options.

Some of the best vegan food - Edit
We went there for lunch and it was by far, some of the best vegan food we have had after trying vegan food in 3 countries.
Read moreIt was a bit hard to find, (we walked past it at first) but it's only been open for 2 weeks and when we did spot it the second time, we were really impressed and grateful to be able to sit on such a beautiful avenue of restaurants and be able to enjoy 5+ star food in such a beautiful setting, and next to the cutest lab mix dog!
The owner really knows what he is talking about and really knows and loves vegan food, and is the friendliest person!
We got the Ceasar salad, gyros, and beyond chicken with brocolli.
Not greasy, perfectly spiced, and super filling. We wish we had room for dessert because their cheesecake looked amazing!
Great service and will be recommending this place to everyone.
Good luck in the new location!

Great food, great service - Edit
It was a little hard to find because it's between other restaurants with their names on adjacent awnings, and it's not clearly distinguished. I told the server that. He said it's because some neighbors have been less than welcoming of a veg. place so they're not trying to stand out just yet.

Place to be - Edit
We went there for dinner and it was amazing. The staff was friendly and everything tasted so good. The Brassoi was very authentic and reminded us of our childhood. And don’t get me started on the cakes/tartes. They were amazing! Absolutely must go when in Budapest.

Great vegan menu and super kind staff - Edit
My sister and I are visiting Budapest for a few days and were looking for some vegan restaurants as typically Hungarian food is very meat-based. It was therefore great to find this place that has a fully vegan menu in the heart of the city. The main menu consists of traditional main courses made vegan such as lasagna, gyros, and chili sin carne which is a nice variety from the usual burger menu at other vegan places. We ordered the chia pudding with granola and toppings. The owner Alex told us the raspberries are organic from his parents’ garden. They tasted very fresh. Next time were in Budapest we’ll definitely come by again!

So good we came back twice! - Edit
Honestly some of the best food I’ve had in a long time! We also had a bottle of local wine which was delicious. The whole vibe was amazing and the staff were super.
Read moreThe first time we went, we had the Eggplant Cream & Sundried Tomato Cream with tortilla chips and veggies which were both amazing. Followed by Paprikash & Wild Stew….what a treat!!! The stew is the BEST meal I’ve had since being vegan without a doubt!
We also tried the goulash which was excellent.
10000% recommend going here if you’re in Budapest!

A second vegan restaurant from the same guys... and this one is just as great. - Edit
I often eat at Yes it is Vegan in Obuda, and finally decided to try out the second, newly opened Yes it if Vegan II at Liszt Ferenc square... and oh boy is it great! The cocktails, the food (the almost-tuna salad was so delicious that I had to take two extra portions home with me) and the staff, too. Greatly recommended.

Long-awaited vegan place at Liszt F. ter. - Edit
We had a nice dinner, cold beer with some random picks from the menu. I tried "vadas" it was amazing, so was the cheescake. My wife had "gulyás", she liked it very much. The reception and the service was very nice and fast. Certainly coming back for more, soon! :)

Great new place - Edit
Freshly opened place in Budapest, it’s their 2nd location, must admit haven’t been to the first one yet. Great veganized twists on Hungarian traditional, homemade classics. Very cool and kind staff and an incredibly friendly big black Labrador mix. Would return here anytime, congrats on your new location!

Great food and very lovely service - Edit
Great food and very lovely service. A good mix of authentic Hungarian dishes as well as other types of cuisine. The eggplant cream with tortilla chips and vegetables was mouth-wateringly delicious- a definite must-have! The not chicken paprikash had a beautifully soft mouth-feel and a pleasant mild flavour. I also shared the not pulled pork wild stew which was exceptional!! So tasty that I forgot to take a photo 😉
