Loved this place!! Stumbled across it and we were so happy! So many good vegan options and decent value!! We had the goulash soup, Mac and cheese and the caprese sandwich and they were all so good, would highly recommend!!! Would definitely go back

This is a really nice restaurant. Unfortunately when we arrived we were the only guests and only one other table was taken shortly after us. All the other restaurants were quite filled. Obviously not many tourists were in the area that evening. The waiter was really friendly, he tried to improve his German with us :)
Read moreI had the wild stew, which was the meal with the most vegetables in it, according to the chef. The taste was really good, it was just not enough for the portion of jasmine rice underneath. The "meat" was really too soft and there was not much taste in it. I think it could be spiced a bit more. My partner was also satisfied with his dish.
As a dessert we had the normal chocolate cake and the sugar free chocolate cake. The version without sugar was the better one, though both were tasty.
Pros: very friendly staff, nice atmosphere, good taste and quality
Cons: "meat" was not very tasty

We really wanted to get some breakfast for our last day in Budapest. It was really hard finding any good restaurants and thankfully we found this one. The food was really great, the service was amazing. They have literally everything, breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks snacks. I really recommend this place!!

Had a lovely meal here this evening. Virgin mojitos. Creamy spinach and mushroom pasta and a really yummy pudding which is hard to explain but tasted great! Great service.

The food was filling, but not very well seasoned. The sidewalk seating was lovely and there were some beautiful flowers rather than cars and traffic on the pedestrian only street.
Read moreThe location was convenient, so I gave it a second chance. Ask for the Hungarian Chili sauces and the food is much more flavorful. They should just bring them automatically.

Well audibly the unfriendly staff is making guessess whether you are a tipping type. The garlic soup they serve strongly tastes raw garlic, and is inedibly salty.

I had gyros with rice as a take-out. It comes in form of rice and some sort of glutinous dough cut into strips. Soft in texture.

Maybe they were going to add more food but I rushed them a bit because I had a train to catch.
The iceberg lettuce packed in a plastic container made my heart cry. Why? I would opt for no "salad" if I knew.
The restaurant seems to be a great place to go out with friends. Just don't order gyros!

Maybe I chose the wrong food, but the “almost” chicken paprikas had really no taste. And it was just some tofu (I thought it will be some “chicken” like protein).

And one downside for me is that I didn’t find it hygienic as the staff is always taking away their dogs when they start barking and not sure they wash their hands regularly as they work hard. So yeah, and in general I think is not the best to eat and be surrounded by big dogs at your table (but again, this is my personal opinion since I like very clean places)

We were welcomed by a lovey server and such a cute dog! We sat outside which had a nice atmosphere. Our order was also taken really quickly which was great! We ordered the goulash to start, I had bean and my husband had the potato. It was absolutely delicious and we were so excited for our main course.
Read moreThe food was nice but not what we were expecting, I ordered mushroom and spinach but got a mushroom sauce with soya-protein type texture pieces with it (no spinach) and my husband ordered gryos but it was the same sauce I had but just with the soya-protein pieces with rice. So more like a curry than a traditional gyros. It was still nice so we did eat the meal - there was nothing wrong with it and the flavours were good!
For the dessert they had run out of a few of the ones I wanted to try but my husband had the chocolate tart - a huge chocolate cake arrived, it was nice but we couldn’t finish it, it was good but just a little dry.
We did enjoy our meal here but some of the dishes were just different to what we were expecting. But the staff were very friendly and helpful and we loved the dogs too ☺️

We were lucky and stayed in an apartment across the square from them. Visited them twice and would have gone there more times if it wasn't for Budapest having a large variety of vegan restaurants. They have a good traditional Hungarian menu and a couple of Italian meals for the less brave. I tried the goulash with potatoes and the paprikash. Both were really good. My partner had the spag boll and gyros which she enjoyed. Deserts were huge and all the waiters were helpful. Very good prices.

Read moreThe outdoor seating area is a bit cramped so there is little to no privacy when halving a conversation. To make it even worse, someone from the building above was throwing cigarette butts right next to us. Talk about ways to ruin your dinner...
