Amazing food and beautiful amazing passionate owner! We came to Bumi for lunch because someone recommended it and I'm so glad we went. The food was incredible and the service was the best we have had in Colombia. Adriana is so passionate about her food and it shows in the dishes. I got a Leche Dorada (turmeric latte) to start and it was by far the best I have ever tried! I asked Adriana if I could buy a small bag of the spice mix from her so she made me some specially to pick up the next day! So cute. And really amazing. If you have never tried it and are reluctant to try it, this is the place to have it! My partner and I had the vegan cazuela for lunch which came with a big salad and the portion was really big and filling. The atmosphere and vibe is really cool.

Delicious food with vegan options. Feels like you're sitting in someone's house, which is great, very cosy! Not much seating inside. The owner is lovely, passionate and her enthusiasm is infectious. Bit more on the expensive side but worth the splurge. The margarita chili spice is absolutely incredible! Highly recommend.

We only got take out from here, but the Hummus and babaganush was yummy. We got two sides of the Lentils as well which were good! The bread seems to be just sandwich bread buy wasn't bad! Owner spoke perfrct english and there were lots are herbs, stickers, and remedies you can purchase in the front of the store.

There were only four tables inside the restaurant. When we entered, the owner warned us that it's gonna take a while to prepare the food, because everything's made fresh. It paid off, because everything was very tasty and beautifully arranged on the plates. I really liked the concept and the love put into it. Nothing for very hungry people though.

I had the vegan casserole which was delicious! I also had the green smoothie (with pineapple, spinach and ginger) very refreshing!! The owner was super friendly and you could really feel that she wants to make you feel welcome!

Inside there are not a lot of places so if you really want to go there I would recommend making a reservation!

This place is a really cute and everything we had was delicious! The mocktails/drinks menu were absolutely 10/10. My only complaint about the food was that there wasn’t great vegan protein options but everything else was fantastic. The staff were also really nice. I’ll be going back for sure.

* Cazuela de frijoles — my favourite meal in Colombia so far

The best experience and food in Colombia - Edit
I wish I could give this 5*. All the food is vegetarian and most could be vegan, there is the option for meat hence the 4* but is primarily vegan, also is very reasonably priced. The hummus with garlic bread and salad were insane. The owner is lovely, she showed us around her herb garden and let us smell and try lots of herbs. She also showed us the alcohol they make and sell and the trees that you can buy or adopt (we adopted one and will get updated on it in the future). She was so friendly and chatted with us for ages and explained they grow their own herbs for the food they make! And she made us a packed lunch for our bus the next day. So sad to only find it on the last day, but it has made my Colombian experience! You have to go there!

The best place on earth - Edit
Me and my friend went here upon recommendation from our hostel owner and thank GOODNESS we did because we had the BEST time!! The owner is so so nice and the whole menu looked gorgeous! We had the hummus and two house salads which was all unreal. The owner made it a whole experience for us and showed us all of the herbs in her garden and taught us about them. We also were able to adopt a tree for 35000 pesos which was so so cute!!

Agree that this is the best vegan food I've had in Colombia. The vegetables in the cream sauce were unbelievable. The hamburger was crazy good as well. I'm so excited to go back, and I can't say that about any other vegan place (vegan options) in salento, maybe other than the Venezuelan place.
