Excellent menu and tasty food - Edit
I was impressed with the vegan selection, there's a huge amount of options. Some of the dishes had strange additions like pesto on a burrito but overall it was yummy and the staff were nice. The desserts in little mason jars were really good!

Fresh food, lovely staff - Edit
We were greeted by staff who were very kind. There are menus which very clearly show what is vegan, or can be made vegan! We had the menu for 25€ each, which includes bread, appetiser, starter, main, dessert, juice and tea. Definitely worth the price, lots of food that filled us up and was amazing. I’d go back :)

Good - Edit
Had the paella, huge portion and really nice. I haven’t had a traditional paella so can’t really say how close it is to that but I enjoyed it! They have a small complementary appetiser which was nice. I also got one of their juices but really didn’t like it, it was thick with pulp and there was hardly any juice which was disappointing.

Tasty meal at good price - Edit
This restaurant has the menu in both Spanish and English, and the vegan dishes (or those with vegan options) are all marked. However due to the awkward placement of the vegan symbols, it was somewhat confusing to figure out which dishes were vegan. I managed to confirm which items were vegan despite the language barrier.
Read moreI got the paella with a side salad, which was all very nice and good portion size for 11 euros. We were also given a free appetizer and some anise tea after the meal, which was a great surprise!
Pros: Large portions, Free appetizer & tea

Very good food, but be careful to ask explicitly for vegan option.

Apart from that, very nice restaurant with good food!

Good food, big portions - Edit
Me and my partner went to this Yerbabuena and had two very good tapas dishes to share as starters and then a main course each. The servings are quite big and that was definitely too much food for the both of us.
Read moreNext time I would just go for three of for tapas to share which then hopefully leaves some room for a dessert :D
There is an English menu available and dishes are marked as vegan, vegan option available or gluten free. Staff was not English speaking though and we had to point at the dishes we wanted on the Spanish menu, but that was fine.
Pros: wide variety of food

A must - Edit
Second location of this (now) classic vegetarian restaurant in Madrid. As far as I remember they have a different menu from the one in c/Bordadores (which is just a couple of minutes away). Lots of delicious starters but not so many main courses as in the other one, or at least I got that impression. Anyway there's plenty to choose from, the food is awesome and the servings are really huge, so if you want to share a few starters, I suggest ordering only a couple or you won't be able to finish the main course. Lots of vegan desserts which are nicely served in small glass jars. Most vegetarian dishes can be made vegan (either using vegan cheese or just skipping the eggs, which the don't use as an ingredient). Also the view from the main room, looking on to a small traditional square from central Madrid, is lovely. Don't miss it!

Cons: can't understand why they don't go vegan
