Disappointed - Edit
I called the owner and asked if the injera bakers used animal products to grease the pans. She said that she didn't know and she would check it out and call me when she found out. Never heard from her. I called again and left a message. Never heard from her.

So Delicious Ethiopian Food! - Edit
We sampled every dish with some friends. Everything was delicious (and vegan). Highly recommend.

Delicious, Soul Nourishing - Edit
I'm actually taken aback. I don't feel worthy of this meal. It just feels so authentic and lovingly prepared. This singular meal has pushed Ethiopian food up my personal list of favorite cuisines.
Read moreThe deluxe platter is 10 unique flavors that are all somehow complimentary. The Yemisir Wot (red lentils) stood out for its spicy heat. The Fosolia has sweet carrots, the Timatim Fit Fit is tangy. There's so much contrast in textures and flavors to jump around to. Such a fun meal!
Each sample-sized dish was thoughtfully laid out on injera, with extra rolled injera on top. Surprisingly nice and mess-free spread for being served in a takeout container.
Clear pricing on the website. You can add up the amounts yourself and that's what you pay (via Venmo or Zelle at time of writing). No added taxes or fees, just voluntary tip.
Owner is currently testing the demand and hoping to get established. Please support this business! Frederick needs Yenya Bet Migeb.
