Vegan Lifesaver

First and foremost they are the only vegan spot on the island. Its hard to find vegan options at most restaurants and I did not want to have to play the make sure game. Not only is this place vegan but the food was phenomal. It became our default location for the remainder of our trip.

Pros: Great menu, Awesome location, Great staff

Absolutely Fantastic

YEMVegan changed the course of my summer here on Martha's Vineyard!!! They are a creative business inspired run by a couple who are striving for greater social change.

Mufyn is always experimenting in the kitchen and coming up with ways to improve and innovate her food. Most of their condiments and sauces are house-made and it shows- they seriously care about what goes into their food! There is flexibility and most of the times I dined here there were exciting specials (the most popular ones have sometimes been added to the menu!).

The owners are always striving to build community and truly take an interest in the lives of the customers who come here. I am not the only regular who has formed a friendship at YEMV, as they try to get on first name basis asap with anyone who's game to chat.

I loved their green burger, quiche, tuna melt, and desserts including donuts and cheesecake. My only tiny suggestion would be to display their prices on their menu, as it made me nervous to order sometimes! There prices are very reasonable though, especially for MV. I am missing their phenomenal eats right now and will definitely be back for the food and the vibes.

Seriously incredible

I didn't realize how much a solid, fully vegan place was missing on Marthas Vineyard until I came across YEMV. Their food is so good and it's hard to choose from all the yummy options. 10/10 the best vegan menu, definitely beats the few subpar options at non vegan places across the island. Jeremiah and Mufyn are awesome and she creates some truly wonderful and pleasant vegan delights.

I am currently making my way through their whole menu one visit at a time. So far I've had the philly cheesesteak, smashed tacos special, French toast bites, lox Bagel, quesadilla, and omelet (brunch special), and the sunflower cup cheesecake. All I can say is wow!! Every single thing was so yummy!! The cheesesteak is a personal favorite, I've been dreaming of it since trying it. The housemade seitan and cheese, plus the deliciously grilled peppers onions and mushrooms mmmmm. I also adore the French toast bites. The specials are always fun and yummy, like the smashed tacos and the omelet. Wow. I cannot say enough wonderful things about YEMV, I HIGHLY recommend checking them out!!

Pros: So many options, Incredible food, Friendly staff

Cons: None at all
