Amazing - Edit
Stopped at YCSF while driving cross country- and was extremely happy to come across a place with such amazing vegan options. Had daily specials as well. Such creative options- not the typical stuff you find on the road having to make omissions in order to make an item vegan. Wasn’t sure about one taco per order, but they were pretty large and very filling, with super thick locally made tortillas. Staff was kind and knowledgeable as well. 10/10 recommend!

5⭐ delicious for vegans & non-vegans - Edit
I went with some friends who are meatatarians, and they loved it. They can't stop talking about how much they enjoyed the food at YCSF. The staff was excellent, the food was phenomenal, and the vibe in the place was so cool. 10/10 would come again.

Awesome food & people!! - Edit
We were passing through & arrived as they were closing so I asked for any other vegan options in the area. He gave some suggestions but then said to wait a minute. He came back & said the chef would make an exception & allow us to order. We were so grateful for their kindness. I had the dragon taco & the imposter taco and both were excellent. My husband had the veggie burger & we shared the garlic parmesan & animal fries. Everything was so tasty & delicious. The staff went above & beyond for us and were so friendly. We would give them.a 5 rating.

I know HappyCow has rules, but this place legitimately had some of the best vegan food I’ve had ANYWHERE! I was blown away by how good this place is. The tacos were unbelievable. So impressed and if I lived near here I would be going at least once a week for the rest of my life.

It’s Taco Tuesday!!Today’s vegan special was the curry cauliflower taco. Outstanding! Also enjoyed the imposter taco (breaded cremini mushroom with a balsamic reduction and a bit of a kick). Local made flour tortillas were superb. Seasoned chips (quite spicy) and phenomenal homemade salsa completed the picture.

Delicious and Can’t Miss - Edit
The staff is friendly and the food is delicious! YCSF has an amazing range of options that are or can be veganized.
Read moreI had the veggie burger which was 8.5 pre tax — it had mushrooms and (I assume) beans — and was sooooo good! The best home made, plant based party I’ve ever tasted!! The “Hulk” taco was excellent as well and my first time having seitan.
The manager on duty would make rounds around the tables indoors and on the patio every so often, checking in on people, clearing tables, refilling drinks, and answering questions. I thought it was really great and endearing.
The best food I’ve had on my road trip so far!
Pros: Friendly staff, Atmospheric , Refill teas

AMAZING FOOD - Edit
This is a perfect example of a restaurant that Amarillo needs. Delicious food, with increased vegan options, and great beer! They are wonderful people who are doing a great thing in Amarillo, TX. They have a consistent menu where all the vegetarian items are now vegan, but they still run daily food specials, so check their Facebook page before going. Their service is timely considering they make each plate fresh to order, but they are super busy, which is expected because they are awesome. They also have brunch every Saturday with vegan options that are incredible! I live for their vegan brunch gravy fries and beermosas! The chefs of YCSF are great people creating amazing food! I will ALWAYS recommend YCSF

This place is not a chain. It is run by people who really care. The food is amazing. I got the mushroom taco, the dragon tofu taco, and the fish taco. They were all delicious but my favorite was the dragon tofu. I will definitely come back here anytime I am in Amarillo. Thank you so much for a wonderful dinner YCSF!

It felt like coming home - Edit
After a week on a road trip in the US when eating vegan felt like a lot of compromises, arriving at Yellow City Street Food was an amazing experience. The vegan tacos and burger that I had was amazingly tasty. It feels so nice with a restaurant where eating vegan doesn't mean just excluding a bunch of stuff. As an additional bonus, the craft beer selection is really great.

You can find their location and hours on Facebook. Best fried mushroom tacos ever! The menu changes daily and is usually posted on Facebook as well. Dinner menu starts at 5pm the wait can be long (line to order & pay) plus wait for food. Don't go if you're in a big rush but the food is well worth the wait.
