My husband and I stopped by for breakfast when we were in town, and I’m still thinking about the richly flavorful samosa burrito I had! 🌯 This little restaurant has tons of great vegan options a cool vibe—while waiting for our food, my husband and I flipped through some of the books stacked around the space about veg cooking, bicycle repair and a few other random topics.

Okay, I have never gone here before because the food was sounding just too healthy and I like junk food haha. I am so glad I tried! Everything tastes really fresh and homemade like comfort food. Soups are like a warm hug. If you get a sammy I would highly recommend the focaccia bread. So fresh and fluffy ahhhh. My nonveg coworkers love it here too! Prices are reasonable for the city too and portions are huge!

This is my absolute favorite place ever in Philly. Eating a bagel here literally makes me smile. I get the roast vegan every time and I can’t eat sesame so I sub the hummus for sunbutter and it’s so delicious. There’s many vegan bagel and burrito options and vegan chili too

Quick and tasty - Edit
I hopped on this site to find lunch and the listings weren’t accurate with hours or food so I was left walking around still searching. I noticed Yellow Bicycle Canteen, ordered some food, and spoke with the employees. There were 2 people there that day and both are friendly. Service was quick, food was fresh, filling, and inexpensive. Definitely a place that will be on my mind when I’m near 9th and Locust looking for food.
