Wow amazing place & food - Edit

I found this place by accident when hiking via Happy Cow App & I was delighted to see the Vegan options on the menu & the wine list. This place is a cosy little gem in a beautiful location with real fires crackling & a warm friendly atmosphere. The staff are lovely and the food was delicious, artistically presented and a pure pleasure to eat. We both had the Vegan Haggis & tatties but I can't wait to return to try everything Vegan there. They informed me that Weds night is Vegan tasting night and I want to go to that too. The menu is clearly labelled & there were a few Vegan wine options also. The food looked & tasted soooo good and the gravy was served in tiny individual jugs which were cute. I would give it 5 stars but the app will only allow 4? The chef is very talented and the presentation of the food is special. They had starter, main course & Vegan dessert options. I would fully recommend this place and was grateful for such a delicious meal after my hike. Great spacious Carpark too. Also very reasonably priced

Pros: Campervans can stay over in the car park if you ea

Fabulous Feast - Edit

A nice pub with a real fire out in the country. I attended the first five-course tasting event and got to sample a range of dishes all of which were delicious. The Haggis, Neeps and Tatties was a favourite with the group who all agreed it would make a great Sunday lunch or Christmas dinner. I also enjoyed the Thai stuffed pepper with a perfectly cooked piece of tofu. We got the chance to offer our feedback on the food and ideas for new menu items as well as meeting the chef who was keen to experiment with vegan recipes. Will definitely be back to eat from the standard menu.

Pros: Great food, Nice atmosphere, Tasting night

Cons: Serves meat
