Love pub with good beer choice - Edit
Has a couple of vegan options. Mainly animal based so 3 stars max rule. Staff were great.

Almost everything is homemade rather than brought in and microwaved, atleast from what I could tell.
Read moreWe ordered the sausage and mash and the 3 bean chilli with chips instead of rice. Everything was delicious. The 3 bean was not spicy so we would have liked some fresh chilli's on top but it was not a deal breaker.
They offer quite a few vegan and veggie options, including pizza and risotto.
10/10 would recommend.

Lovely staff & well kept pub. Only sausage & mash, moving mountains burger & couple of sides as your vegan choices so nothing too interesting. It was all good tho. 4 stars if they had a Sunday Roast option or more on the menu.

At a slightly higher price point but the food is good, the establishment is lovely on the inside and has outdoor seating options. Service was good too!

Served dairy on a vegan burger! - Edit
We had a very poor experience here. Not only were the meals expensive (£15 for a standard bean chilli!) my partner ordered the vegan chicken burger and thought the cheese looked suspicious by the way it had melted.
Read moreHe checked with the kitchen and they said they had put dairy cheese on and took it away. By the time a new meal had arrived, I’d finished mine. We mentioned this at the bar as we were paying (I also had to prompt the supervisor as she didn’t ask how everything was - I worked in hospitality for years myself) and they didn’t really seem that bothered, even when I said my partner has a dairy allergy.
Very poor service, average food and serving dairy with vegan dishes - avoid!

Please bring back mushroom Wellington! - Edit
Better than most places in town, but very disappointed that they’ve taken the mushroom Wellington off the menu.

Excellent experience. Wonderfully upbeat and attentive staff, even on a hot day. Very welcoming for us and the 4 dogs. Generous amount of tea and great vegan mushroom wellington. Very much recommended.

Delicious Mushroom Wellington - Edit
Had the mushroom wellington with chips instead of mash, veg and gravy - it was delicious. The staff were super friendly, although the service was a little slow, possible due to the 'Eat Out To Help Out' scheme
