Last time I had the Chicken Parmigiana, which is really good. And the eggplant gnocchi, which was a bit disappointing.
Next time I’ll definitely try the white bean hummus and the nachos.
Again, I had no room for dessert. The white chocolate mud cake sounds soooo good!!!
Cons: The mains came a bit too quick after the starters.

This place has a nice vibe with lots of plants, and booths to sit at. The owner was lovely! Seems like there are mixed reviews on the mock meats, but I got a mac & cheese and thought it was great. Everything is reasonably priced as well.

Judging by the mixed reviews perhaps it depends on what you order. We booked for lunch but it was very quiet. It is a good sized restaurant.
Read moreI ordered the farmhouse favourite as I can’t pass anything up that comes with gravy. It was a “chicken” schnitzel with mashed potato, greens and gravy. It was a good sized meal and I really enjoyed it. The “chicken” was nicely flavoured and cooked. I also had a sparkling hibiscus which was refreshing on a hot day.
My partner had the nachos which he enjoyed.
Service was prompt and friendly and the staff checked to see if there was anything they could do for us and that our meals were ok.
Really tasty. I would have loved a dessert but I was just too full.

I really wanted to support this place and would have loved to have a good local vegan cafe, but the food just isn't very good. A 'junk food' vegan restaurant needs to do junk food really well, because vegan junk food is no longer novel or inaccessible. This place doesn't, and it ends up just being expensive, freezer-mock meats with very unexciting sides (e.g. under-seasoned coleslaw). The food was cold and very bland.

Get the spicy cauliflower starter! So yum. I had the eggplant steak gnocchi for a main which was pretty good, maybe a 3.75/5. The creamy sauce was thick but not quite there in terms of taste. I heard the farmhouse favourite was good as well. Apparently the flatbread was a bit plain and supposed to be garlicky but you couldn’t taste it.

I used to come here allll the time for every special occasion. The quality is just downhill since the owner changeover, and no longer feels like a nice good quality restaurant.
Read moreMy pics are a comparison of their nachos before and after the changeover; while still charging almost $30… was beans, tomato, and some greasy corn chips and a light drizzle of some kind of sauce. I had also extra cheese sauce on the phone and they said it already came with heaps. I sent them a message about this and they did not reply.

We live in Bundaberg and needed to be in Brisbane for 5 days, and being Vegan found great reviews on Google and Happy Cow for this vegan restaurant. It surpassed our expectations, so much in fact, that we booked for dinner for a second time. Reasonable prices, for excellent tasting food and great service.
