Good Ramen, Amazing Onigiri - Edit
We both had the Zen Ramen (a Shoyu Ramen). It was quite mild but good, the broth had a strong soy sauce flavor. The toppings were interesting and also a bit unusual: tofu skin, pickled bambus, a single large dumpling, alongside mushrooms and pickled ginger. I felt it was cooked with carey tasted nice, but didnt wow us. We also shared a shiitake Onigiri, which came warm and with some creamy sauce for dipping, and tasted really great! Pure comfort food. We also shared a pot of Jasmine tea, which was tasty. Service was friendly. If we could, we'd give 4.5 stars.

Read moreThe ideal time to visit this place when it's warm so you can enjoy the outdoor seating area. The indoor seating is limited and with all the heat from cooking I'd suggest choosing indoor option in the fall/winter season.
The food was truly great. You can ask the staff to adjust level of spiciness if you like your food more/less hot.

I've visited Yatta for a quick meal in a short free time window I've had in Warsaw and it turned out to be a good decision. I've chosen the Zen ramen, which is their most "basic" option, based on a clear, light broth. It was very good and I loved their creative toppings, that I don't even recall what they were exactly now, but everything was working together to create a very tasty dish and the portion itself was really solid as well. I've also had some edamame, that - just as expected - was absolutely delicious. The service was friendly as well and the localization makes it one of the best places to go when you travel by train and arrive hungry in Warsaw. While it wasn't better for me than my favorite ramen place in Warsaw, it's a close contender for sure and I think it's more about personal preference rather than one being just better than another, so I recommend trying it on your own, definitely won't be disappointed if you're a ramen fan.
