Amazing vegan food - Edit
“Vegetarian or vegan menu?” was the first question we got when we came in — we were so happy as we’ve only found 1 other restaurant on Zakynthos that had a separate vegan menu. We ordered mojitos, the Greek salad, the pasta and the moussaka. Everything was delicious. Wish we had more time or place in our stomachs to try more… Very friendly staff as well. I highly recommend this place.

Visited Yard of Taste with 2 other vegans, a vegetarian and a meat-eater. There is a separate vegetarian/vegan menu and the staff were careful to make note of dietary requirements for each person. Service was fast, friendly and helpful and the food was fantastic! The moussaka was especially huge - we should have shared! Everyone was very happy with their food. Definitely worth a visit! The restaurant itself is very pretty with a lovely atmosphere.

Plenty of options we ended up going for the moussaka and the Greek pasta dish with vegan chicken and bacon. Had cougette fritters for starters and a lovely chocolate mousse dessert.

Das Essen war verhältnismäßig sehr teuer und leider sehr ölig. Wir haben aufgrund der Bewertungen große Erwartungen gehabt die nicht erfüllt wurden. Es gibt in der Stadt günstigere Alternativen die ebenfalls sehr lecker sind.

Went there because of all the good and many reviews, the location is really beautiful and the chef came to us when she saw me holding the vegan menu and said she was here for me.
Read moreIn the end I ordered the vegan gyros, which sadly was a disappointment for me. It was way too sweet, made with chi‘kn and there was only pita, no chips and the vegan tzatziki was just a mayo of some kind. It just didn’t meet my expectations and was in no way a ‚traditional‘ gyros but was still good. Would go there again to try something else.

Such a gorgeous place , I was seriously excited reading their menu , lots of amazing options , I didn't know what to choose , went for the vegan gyros in the end , absolutely fantastic, so tasty , I also loved this restaurants interior design , really quaint and unique just a lovely setting to sit down and enjoy really good food ,

Read moreWe had the courgette starter. It was incredible sweet, fresh, savoury and creamy. Full of flavour a real treat. I had the Vegan gyros and my mum had the Vegan moussaka- it was great for us both to have a greek classic adjusted for us. Both had a modern twist! The gyros I loved, the seitan was cooked in such a way it had flavour and a crisp bite (as would be expected for the traditional pork).
The staff were all lovely. They were knowledgeable about the vegan options. The girl enthusiastically recommended her favourites (which I'm glad I followed). We were introduced to the executive chef who was friendly and keen to talk about the menu to us and others. All staff seemed happy and spoke well of the wider team.
The venue was great, trendy, stylish! Loved it all.

There were so many options to choose from which was great. We had the ceaser salad, gyros and tomato/sausage dish, all were very good. Owner explained that the menu says veggie but everything is vegan on it.

Wonderful restaurant in a quiet street just off the main square in Zakinthos. Beautiful interior and exterior setting. Separate vegan menu with at least 3-4 options for each course. There is a dedicated veggie/vegan chef. Everyone who works here seems to love their job and they always took their time to make us feel welcomed. 5 stars, we will be back.

Reserve a table if you want to eat in the garden - Edit
If you go there during the summer season you should reserve a table in their outside area, we didnt reserve but still got a nice table but it was on the street. They have an extra menu for vegan dishes and i had the Risotto and the chocolate dessert and both were very good. My Mom had the vegan Moussaka and it was also very delicious

Yard of taste was an absolute treat! The vegan gyros were honestly delicious. The restaurant being in a great location just off the main square in Zakhynthos Main Town. The staff are super kind and knowledgeable on the subject. The decor in the restaurant is lovely. Portions are small for the price comparatively to other places but definitely worth a visit if you would like to treat yourself.

Maybe there is no clear vegan menu, but Iota, the owner, can adapt any plate and has many options available. Vegan feta cheese, quinoa salad, mushrooms, hummus, an amazing chickpea stew, etc. And it's also the perfect place to go if you are allergic or intolerant to anything.

Maybe my favourite meal of my trip! They didn’t have the vegan feta appetiser on the menu, but had a vegan appetiser of the day that was a sort of mushroom bruschetta and it was great, then the mushroom orzo was as wonderful as other reviews said, and THEN the “juicy chocolate cake” (more like brownie batter pudding) was also amazing. Fancier than I expected so I was underdressed haha
