Misleading name

Despite the name, this is NOT a vegan restaurant since they serve eggs. (Very misleading!) I've been here three times, and they've never had tofu pudding even though it's printed on their menu. Seating is limited to about 10 people around the big wooden table in the shape of Taiwan. The Tzu Chi TV Channel is usually playing in the background.

Now to the good stuff: the prices are very affordable, perhaps because they run the restaurant out of their living room and front porch. I have enjoyed the wagui (savory steamed rice cake in a bowl, NT$30) when they actually have it, lion's mane mushroom noodle soup (NT$50), steamed veggie buns, and veggie fried noodles (order without eggs to make it vegan, NT$50). They usually hand out complimentary sweetened black tea at the end of your meal. It's also relatively close to Feng Chia University.
