Impossible Gyros!!

I’ve gone to Yalla a few times because they have several vegan options (two different falafels, lots of sides) but I only just tried the impossible protein, and it’s Delicious! It tastes just like spiced gyro meat — I was shocked and amazed! Gyro meat was something I loved the taste of, but I just assumed I would never get to enjoy that kind of flavor again. I was wrong! If you miss gyros, go here!!!!

Pros: Varied vegan protein options , Impossible gyro meat!

Cons: Side dishes are sometimes undercooked

Okay

Although this had several options, the staff was inflexible to my request for veggies instead of meat. They did have falafel (but I do not do fried). I had to pay for a side. The kicker was they just added chicken to my sandwich (after all that discussion about the side, the other counter person just put it on my sandwich.) They remade it, but forgot the olives.

Pros: Inexpensive, Fast, Pita bread was delicious

Cons: Poor service, Corporate mentality, Wish they had 100% whole wheat pita

Yay, Mediterranean!

Yalla has a separate menu for vegans complete with warnings if the items were cooked on a shared surface (such as their veggies) or if something has honey in it.
It's laid out much like Chipotle: choice of pita, salad or meal then which protein option.
I had falafel, lentils, Greek potato salad, and Baba Ganoush.
It's served in a plate that you can take with you if you can't finish, no need to ask for a take home box.
There's also a cool herb wall.

Pros: Separate vegan menu, Lots of choices, Quick service
