Serves meat, vegan options available. Nepali food menu with a separate vegan section listing 20+ dishes. Relocated from
14 Magdalen St. Open Mon-Fri 15:00-23:00, Sat-Sun 12:00-23:00.
Naan! Really unusual to be able to get a vegan naan so a real treat. The curries were delicious and not at all oily. Nice staff too. I would have given it five stars but apparently it's not possible if somewhere isn't fully meat-free! They do have a completely vegan menu besides the main one which makes ordering very easy.
You can always count on an Indian restaurant to knock up something vegan for you, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that Yak & Yeti had a separate vegan menu. Lots of interesting choices, not just your run of the mill curries, they have put a lot of thought into it. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. Sadly they do not serve side dishes.
I had heard terrific things about the food here. Unfortunately my bar may have been set slightly high. I found the sauces all very similar. It was okay, but not nice enough to make me want to return.
Gaudy decor, large menu but my curry tasted like lamb (my meat eating friend agreed and she was eating lamb), waitress wasn’t interested I didn’t eat my food. Starters were lovely but mains were mediocre
Food was really nice and cheap for what you get. There is a discount if you order online and it has a dedicated vegan menu. They also gave us a free extra curry, would recommend.
