Yeah it's nice they have vegan labeled things, but it's Sri Lanka and it's not hard to find vegan food. We had rice and curry, had no flavour at all, it was bizare. The manager was also rude and seemingly couldn't care less about anything.

I got so excited when I saw tofu on the menu but it was a disappointment. Got the bbq tofu sandwich and the coconut milk shake and both were flavorless. Wish I would have just gone to a typical Sri Lankan place. Would not go again (they have a big vegan menu though which is nice).

Es gibt ein separates und sehr umfangreiches veganes Menü. Wir haben uns dennoch für zwei Optionen aus dem "normalen" Menü entschieden, die uns der Inhaber auf Wunsch veganisiert hat. Das Essen war sehr lecker und kreativer als die übrigen hier im Umkreis. Der Inhaber hat uns danach noch etwas vollgequatscht, ist ein sehr netter Typ! Klare Empfehlung!

We had breakfast twice here because we liked it so much. We (vegetarian/vegan) recommend the pancakes, milk rice and roti. Only downside is the instant coffee.

Das Restaurant ist wunderschön gestaltet und befindet sich abseits von der Straße, was sehr angenehm ist. Die einzelnen Gerichte sind sehr lecker und super gewürzt! Allerdings gibt es ein Stern Abzug, da es leider etwas zu wenig für uns war. Obwohl wir jeweils 1,5 Gerichte gegessen haben, waren wir danach immer noch etwas hungrig.

Nice seating in the backyard. There are a lot of mosquitoes but so far that has been the Negombo experience for me. Ordered the vegan kottu and thought it was kind of boring. I do appreciate the vegan menu.

It’s nice that they have a separate menu for vegan items. Food quality is good and the owner is very friendly. The ambiance is somewhat lacking though. There is no indoor seating which makes it hard to relax - because of mosquitoes, flies, and rain. Perhaps this is cultural issue but I did not quite enjoy that two-three dogs were running around the tables.

Has a separate vegan menu and understands the concept of veganism. Just ask if a dish can be made vegan for you. Local food and some african fusion. The potatoe paratha and the kotthu was really good!
