Sunday Roast - Edit
We had to book a table because this restaurant is popular. My husband and I had a vegan chickpea and mushroom wellington that was served with mash potatoes, roast potatoes, red cabbage, carrots and swede, and gravy. Vegetarians can have leeks in cheese sauce. It was a generous portion but it left just enough room for the delicious sticky toffee pudding (vegan puddings are available). Almost the whole menu is gluten-free and they are really thoughtful about allergies and special diets.
Read moreTwo of us had starters, four main meals, four puddings and four drinks and it was under £100, which I think is great value these days.
Only complaint I could make is that it took quite a while for our main course to come but we used the time to have a leisurely chat and it all felt very relaxed.
Pros: Friendly and helpful service , Veggie and vegan options , Menu is virtually all gluten-free
Cons: A bit slow, Not everything on the menu was available

Don’t waste your money - Edit
Overpriced, terrible food. Ordered a mushroom paella (both adults and children’s sizes) both came out the same size. Garlic chips consists of fries with half a bottle of vegan garlic mayonnaise. Patatas bravas was roasted potatoes with a flavourless tomato sauce and again, half a bottle of mayonnaise. Sent food back and they removed it from the bill thankfully, others also returned food whilst we were there. Extremely overpriced for tasteless and rubbish food.

Tasty tapas - Edit
This restaurant serves meat and vegan dishes. Booking was made a few days in advance for a table of 6 for an evening meal. We ordered the vegan stuffed peppers, sweet potato falafel, plain chips and patatas bravas without the aioli to make it vegan. Service was quick and friendly. A lovely place to visit if eating out with non-vegans.

Nice Restaurant - Edit
Nice restaurant in Porthmadog - we had spicy falafel, patatas bravas, stuffed peppers and chips. Lovely food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Accidentally served us a non vegan option, but we made them aware and they changed it for a vegan one and comped it.

Amazing food - EVERYTHING gluten free - FIVE star - Edit
Have you ever tried to eat out with your family when you are intolerant to gluten and your child has a nut allergy? This place is your answer.
Read moreAbsolutely everything on the menu was 100% gluten free. Also, none of their food (at least when we visited) contains any nuts, peanuts, sesame. This meant that all our family could eat everything and anything on the menu. It was fantastic.
Whilst it is not a vegetarian restaurant (which is now just doing takeaway due to covid), they still have a good choice of vegetarian and vegan foods.
They also have lots of really nice homemade desserts and ice creams.
THANK YOU to the Banc restaurant!
Pros: gluten-free, nut-free, peanut-free
Cons: I wish it was closer to our home

Odd decor but not bad food - Edit
Not bad. The atmosphere is a little odd but the food was fine. Smallish portions and not particularly cheap but then that is tapas. The jackfruit tacos were tasty.
Read morePros: Well labeled menu , The options I chose were available, Friendly staff
Cons: Not that big portions
