好吃的拉麵

應該是蛋奶素的拉麵或全素
泡菜口味微辣
豆乳白湯就不會辣,
超推薦喔!
來吃好幾次囉!

Pros: 濃郁不膩, 吃得超飽

Cons: 位置少有時候要等待

拉麵好去處

希望每次去都能吃到餐點,好幾次7:30左右就賣完,與營業間不合。

Pros: 提供拉麵,丼飯,小菜, 有室外又有室內二三好友適合

Cons: 太早就沒餐供應了, 份量太少

Satisfying ramen

Located near the Dadun Cultural Center, Xunchang was an ideal spot for an early dinner before checking out the exhibits at the cultural center galleries. I had sent Xunchang a message on Google Maps to confirm that they’d be open on 228 Peace Memorial Day, and at the same time that they confirmed they would be, they recommended that I pre-order the dishes I wanted to avoid having them run out before I arrived. I decided on the lion’s mane mushroom soy milk ramen (猴菇燒若豆乳拉麵) and the black soy beans with aloe (黑豆蘆薈). I arrived about 30 minutes after I had planned to, but they still had my order in the queue. They didn’t start making it until after I arrived, so there was a bit of a wait. Seating is limited, but I got there early enough to beat the 6:30-7pm rush. But it took the staff quite some time before they came to clear the dishes away from the diners who preceded me. They have complimentary barley tea near the cashier, and you can help yourself to reusable utensils and condiments along the wall further back.

The side came out long before the ramen did. It tasted a bit sweet, and I thought it could’ve served as a dessert. The black soy beans were very tender, and the aloe was refreshing and balanced between soft and crispy.

The ramen was filling even without the optional upgrade to get more noodles. There were two slices of lion’s mane mushroom, some thicker slices of bamboo (not at all like the menma in Japanese ramen), seaweed, and corn kernels. The noodles were on the thinner side, which isn’t my favorite, but they still had some good chewiness. Not too shabby!

The playlist consisted of instrumental versions of Studio Ghibli movie theme songs. But my experience was tarnished by a woman sitting next to me who felt that dining solo gave her license to watch the Taiwanese news on her phone without headphones on. 😔

Pros: all vegan, good flavors

Cons: limited seating, slow clean-up
