Has both a la carte and buffet options. Most dishes are vegan. Buffet features mockmeats, beancurd, veggies, and some western options. Serves alcohol. No onion, garlic, shallot, chive, leek and spring onion. Located next to the Imperial College and Yonghegong, the Lama Temple, right across from the Confucius temple. Reported closed due to high rent. May move to a new location, please update HappyCow of changes.

Great, good quality food - Edit
Easily the best vegetarian restaurant we found in China. The mock chicken curry here was particularly delicious but everything we tried was wonderful. Service was good, prices were reasonable and both the buffet and the individual dishes were of a high quality.

I went here for the buffet. Nice restaurant, with a huge buffet selection. Lots of dishes. I wasn't blown away by the food, but it was certainly above average. I got there a bit late, so it wasn't the fairest review, as much of the food was lukewarm, and some dishes were finished. Get there early to avoid this fate! I'm giving them four cows on potential, as I don't think I got the best possible impression of the food from my own delinquency. Really closer to three and a half however, as the food was good rather than great. Definitely worth visiting, but not worth crossing town for (for that - go to Still Thoughts instead!).

Once my husband and I found this place, we were in there nearly everyday! Really nice food. We had a la carte once but rest of time had buffet. Not sure if desserts are vegan but they have fresh fruit on offer. Easy to over-eat so dont go if on a diet! Really friendly staff. Nice clean non-smoking atmosphere. A bonus in Beijing!

easy to find, and worth the visit. if visitng either of the nearby temples pay here a visit.
Read morei had the evening buffet, cny58, big selection, mainly veg dishes, but also tofu and mock meat. large selection, the majority seemed vegan, also had a large selection of deserts including fresh fruits.
as with most buffets, some dishes were a luke warm. nice atmosphere with booths available. no smoking allowed.
