Delectable improvised traditional vegetarian dish - Edit
Simply delicious dinner at Xin Man Yuan Vegetarian Restaurant on Good Friday 2015. Despite having still having fever and unwell, these delectable improvised traditional vegetarian dishes make me crave for more ... Yummy! Very reasonable pricing! Will go again ...
Re-visited a couple of times after that. The last visit was in January 2016, and the standard of the food still maintained. Surprisingly my non-vegetarian friends find it delicious.
This restaurant is under the same group with the popular vegetarian restaurant at Bukit Timah Road (Miao Yi Vegetarian Restaurant).
Pros: ,
Cons: affordable, spacious

important: only 4 persons abv activates the all u can eat buffet offer - Edit
Beyond that caveat, place is strategically located in downtown Chinatown (People's Park) and MRT accessible. Not that crowded as it IS PRICEY. Food-wise: items are piping hot & fresh, dim sum items are well prepared and not particularly gluten/mock laden. Where it counts, simple things like the skin wrap on the dim sum is fresh, noodle is replete with fresh veg & mushrooms, if a little oily. Osmanthus Fried noodle is quite good, so is the carrot cake.
Pros: clean,, upmarket, deluxe , Chinese restaurant standard
Cons: service is cold & brusque-don't expect a smile, PRICEY

Great Dim Sum! - Edit
While in Singapore, my husband and I found out that Xin Man Yuan offers vegetarian Dim Sum. We gave it a try, and it was absolutely amazing!
They don't use eggs or dairy in any of their Dim Sum options, making it completely vegan. There were tons of options, and we were impressed with everything we got. I wish I could remember everything that we tried, but I'm pretty sure that most of their options are tasty.
The restaurant itself is in a mall, and is decorated really formally. I've heard that they use it for weddings, which I could totally see. We felt somewhat underdressed... until we looked around at other diners!
Pros: Amazing food, Super friendly staff, Nicely decorated restaurant
