Excellent lunch

We had a really lovely lunch here. There latest menu includes a number of vegan options (including on the children's menu and breakfast menu) and the food really exceeded all expectations. The falafel wrap was lovely and very filling. The zesty, falafel salad was incredible, original and so much more delicious than I had expected. Top notch vegan options, very friendly staff, dogs welcome and a lovely location. We would love to return to try the vegan afternoon tea (pre-booking required and bound to be delicious!)

There is also a falafel, chilli jam and cheese sandwich which can be vegan, a vegan cooked breakfast and sausage rolls.

Pros: Delicious and original vegan options , Dogs welcome , Lovely, clean and friendly cafe

Cons: Sell non-vegan foods

Plant-based burger and salad

The location itself is pretty good for a family day out. There is a modest play area and a separate petting farm (which could either be a pro or a con depending upon your views).

The food was not too expensive and there was a small selection available. It boiled down to just a vegan burger with cheese and a modest side salad.

For all of the proclamations about looking after the environment there is an awful lot of single use cutlery and plates. Granted they all have good environmental credentials and are recyclable but they seem a little unnecessary from my perspective

Pros: Not too expensive, Vegan food clearly marked, Friendly staff

Cons: Not a great selection if you don’t like burgers, Over reliance on disposable cutlery

Affordable and friendly

The restaurant has recently added Vegan options and admits to still be learning about it, but they're very eager to provide a varied menu to suit Vegetarians and Vegans.
Be sure to tell them you're Vegan, to avoid any mishaps.
The food is great and the staff are smiley, friendly and efficient.

Pros: Several Vegan Options, Close to independent shops, Playground for children

Cons: Still learning, Rural location, There's a small petting farm
