Sympathique - Edit
Ce petit restaurant qui sert du vegan raw est sympathique. Nous avons essayé le bowl of the day qui contenait deux boules de céréales dans une copieuse portion de salade (tomates, choux, carottes) avec une excellente sauce. Bon service. Mais c'était un peu cher.

First i wanted to say that the staff is sooo friendly and are here if you want to talk about anything really, it's like home.😄

Pros: Friendly/Funny Staff, Food is really good , Fresh Food / Handmade

Amazing experience in the heart of Paris - Edit
The level of detail that Michael puts into his food is incredible. My wife and I stayed a couple of blocks away from this restaurant for seven nights and ate here for four of them because each experience was unique and amazing. The ingredients that Michael uses make you feel like you are right next to the garden that he harvests them from. Just order the Plat de Jour, sit back and enjoy. Thank you Michael!!!

Great Food, Great Service! - Edit
My wife and I visited WFB twice during a short stay in Paris, and both times we were impressed with everything we ordered. The owner is very nice, accommodating, and informative: directing us to where we could find some of the seasonings he uses. Many of the dishes may appear to be vegan standards, but the owner works out creative twists and complementary flavors that are interesting and new. He takes obvious care in selecting fresh ingredients (fantastic tomatoes!) and the flavors of the vegetables shine through in the his dishes.
Read moreAs noted in another review, his doesn't use oil in his cakes (or most of his recipes for that matter), which suited us well since we do not use added oils. The chocolate and almond cakes were excellent - perfect for sharing in nearby Luxembourg Gardens.
Looking forward to our next visit!

Here I tried things I’ve never eaten before, from sprouted buckwheat, sprouted chickpeas hummus to fermented cabbage. And the zucchini was prepared very well: shortly shocked in the oven, so that it was still juicy yet crunchy. The ingredients were all very fresh and cut to order.

Cozy Little Place - Edit
World Food Barn is one of the few fully vegan places located at Rive-Gauche in Paris. It's easily accessible from Luxembourg's station (exit Rue de l'Abbé de l'Epée).
Read moreThe menu consists of a few raw appetizers, bowls, sweets and juices. Not everything is raw, but I don't mind it, as I'm not a raw food fan.
We had as appetizer the Hummus platter (made from sprouted chickpeas); and then the Bali Bowl and the Bowl of the Day which had a burger and roasted sweet potatoes. Portions were generous and everything was yummy, very fresh and crunchy.
The service was friendly and welcoming. Plus, there are recipe books which you can browse while waiting (most of them in French, though).
Nice place to stop by if you're around!
Pros: location, good value, friendly staff

A lovely welcome with delicious cake! - Edit
I stopped here for lunch on a business trip before taking a train to Germany. I knew I would need a good meal for the long journey and the World Food Barn did the trick. I had the veggie hummus stack and the smoothie of the day. Both were delicious and filling. Then, they wrapped up a delicious piece of raw chocolate and pistachio cake with blueberries for me to take away on the train. The staff were friendly and spoke excellent English, which is very helpful as my French is not good. For a vegan travelling in a country that loves meat and cheese, this place was a refreshing and welcoming lunchtime haven.

A real enrichment for the Parisian culinary landscape - Edit
There is little to say about this place. Great food, great people, great atmosphere. I rarely felt so welcome in and inspired by a Parisian food place. The food is a real and positive contrast to the meagre and uninspired vegetarian (not to mention vegan) options in many places. Thanks Michael, thanks Elodie. Keep up the spirit! I'll definitely be back.

Adorable and delicious - Edit
All raw vegan place, one of few on the left bank. Has two standard bowls on the menu, plus a bowl of the day. Owner is a charming transplant from California, formally trained in French cooking, then became a vegan. Delicious, but can be a little challenging on the digestion if you are not used to a lot of raw food.

Delicious and welcoming - Edit
The restaurant was very bright and welcoming. Fairly limited menu but what is on offer is delicious. It's a one person operation so don't expect the place to offer a huge menu. All food made on the spot. Offers a "Bowl of the day" so everyday you can try something new and tasty. Big portions and very fresh. Menu entirely vegan at present but owner talked about future plans to include both meat and and vegan options. Restaurant not open on Sundays and Mondays. Owner also says he plans to open in the evenings in the coming months.

Very nice raw vegan restaurant. The menu can be found both on French and English, for good reason, the chef is from California! They opened like 3 weeks ago so opening times are subject to change. He's really nice to talk to. I had never been to a raw vegan place but this is a great one.
