Very rude staff -stay away - Edit
I am long time user, first time poster to warn people to stay away from this place. Gdansk is quite vegan friendly, take your money elsewhere. We entered almost completely empty restaurant through open side of the restaurant. The main entrance was completely blocked by live performance and a weekend crowd watching. The staff member not only didn't respond to our polite greetings but started questioning us about why we entered that way, started doubting that we couldn't get through the crowd etc. I just turned around and left as there was no reason for it, not her job. Her job is to greet people and serve them food, not be impolite and rude. Would give it zero stars if it was possible

OK - Edit
Not many vegan options for lunch. Rice bowl with tofu and no kimchi was vegan and tasty, but could have done with a bigger portion.

Good, but waited pretty long - Edit
We ordered something for take away and waited rather long. The food was good, however I had expected much more taste-wise.

Very good food even better cocktails - Edit
Overall a very pleasant dining experience. I ordered tofu bao buns and my two vegetarian friends one fish and one tofu but they preferred the tofu one. Drinks were amazing!

Nice food but better in the city - Edit
Limited vegan options. We had the sushi bowl and the woosabi vegan bowl. These were identical though one had hot sauce and the other had vegan mayo.

Good food but not many options - Edit
Was disappointed that the bao buns weren’t vegan (even though they had vegan mayo) and that there were only a few vegan options. Food was good but not too special. Atmosphere was great though, packed with people and nice decorations.

Very nice restaurant - Edit
I went there twice when I stayed in Gdansk a while ago. The Bao Buns are tasty as are the fries. However I feel like they could use a bit more ingredients than just a block of tofu in a bun with (really tasty) sauce on top. A bit of salad and a thinner slice of tofu would easily improve this burger to a 5/5.
Read moreThe drinks are great, I tasted all of the home-made lemonades and loved pretty much all of them.
Nitpicking: Sadly vegan mayo, which tastes basically identically to the normal one (both great BTW) is more expensive (~20ct) somehow, which I can't really understand as I've found most vegan mayo to be priced very close, if not cheaper than regular mayo. If they do make it themselves, which I understood was the case, it should be cheaper simply due to it requiring less ingredients. If it's due to the amount of each version you sell, just use vegan versions for all dishes, which would cover everyone and slim down the menu a bit. It's not like you could taste a difference anyways. SMH. Again just nitpicking, but I hate to pay more for vegan options that should logically be the cheaper option.
Pros: Great sauces, Bao Buns are always great
Cons: The tofu inside the buns is too huge, Vegan Mayo costs extra for some reason

Nice food, but limited - Edit
The bowl was really yummy, however the menu is a bit confusing with some labelled as vegan on one page and then vegetarian on the next. They also mention subbing the mayo for vegan mayo in the bao bun, but the buns aren’t actually vegan at all. Luckily the server was really clear on what was and wasn’t vegan ☺️

Okay I guess? - Edit
Zamówiłam bowl wegański i był spoko ale jak na mój gust trochę za ostry. Lemoniada za to była o wiele za słodka. Tego się pić nie dało, musiałam ją popijać wodą. Poza tym drogo

Tasty food, reasonably priced - Edit
They have a dedicated Vegan/Veggie page in there menu, they also provide English menu's as well as Polish. In a really nice location on the new side of the bridge in old town Gdansk where there isn't many vegan options. The food was good and favour full and staff are knowledgeable and friendly!

Nothing special - lacking flavour - Edit
Woosabi is a spacious restaurant with a nature design inside and a cozy atmosphere. Lots of available sitting and long menu including one dedicated for vegans. Unfortunately, I found their mango curry and vegan spring rolls to be lacking in flavour, quite bland although spicy, couldn't really taste the mango in the curry and it's consistency wasn't thick enough. The spring rolls were flavourless...not enough filling inside. Staff despite the fact that it wasn't busy wasn't very attentive to take our order so we had to look out for them and call them to the table twice. So poor customer experience on that front.

Super cute - Edit
Lovely restaurant! Nice and quick staff and good food! Sadly the bao buns are veggie and not vegan! They contain milk.
Read more20/11/21 The sushi bowl was so good and filling, the marinated tofu was super good and I loved all the veggies inside :)
22/11/21 Went back again because I liked it so much! I had the vegan rice bowl. It was spicy and the tofu blocks were big. Looked good, was tasty but would have been better if they did the tofu like the sushi bowl. Liked to sushi bowl more because the rice bowl was too spicy for my liking

Good vegan selection - Edit
They have a vegan menu (and in English) with bao, rice and noodle bowls, and dessert options. I had 2 bao that come with salad, and I ordered the vegan Mayo as well but wasn’t necessary ( 3 $ extra). Good service and atmosphere. Great for dining with friends who aren’t also vegan.
