Vegan "tax" in 2025

Politics aside, there is nothing really special, or negative, about this small chain.
However, paying up to a buck for plant based milks is just not going to fly anymore.
Will consider returning when they remove this discriminatory fee.

owners are known for being anti-lgbtq and have rallied and donated to anti-lgbtq causes. don’t go here! much better places in town that aren’t chains owned by bigots.

Somewhat vegan-friendly cafe

Stopped by on my way home from the Canada border. At first glance, I wasn’t sure if they have any vegan options as their menu does not clearly state which are vegan. I had to ask for the vegan options, and they recommended the banana bread. I ordered that and their blueberry spinach smoothie with oat milk. The bread itself is worth the trip to the cafe, and the smoothie is surprisingly good with unique flavours. They seem to know what to do to serve vegan folks. Don’t mind driving by for their banana bread again.

Pros: Nice cafe for something a bit different

Cons: No ‘vegan’ indicators
