Love Woodruff Bistro

I have eaten at this cafe several times! The food is excellent especially the hummus and pita bread and frutta bowls!
The employees are wonderful! The cafe is very clean and the food is great! I highly recommend the Woodruff Bistro in the Manchurian Building at Mayo!!!💕👍👍

Should’ve been better

I was so excited to find out about a cafe that served vegan bowls and kombucha at the Mayo Clinic. Ordered a bowl with ancient grains, black beans, avocado, bok choy and edamame. All hot things were just reheated and overcooked in I’m assuming a microwave?

I ate the avocado out of the bowl and threw the rest away. Disappointing...heading over to salad bar once again in the Davis Bldg.

Oh...and the Kombucha....they stopped selling yesterday.

Real Food at a hospital!

We were delighted with this great little bistro over in the Mangurian bldg. We had delicious DIY bowls with greens and cruciferous veggies over mixed grains the first time, and Acai bowls on another day. It's great to see hospitals starting to catch up with medical science...even if they still have a ways to go.

This place is much better than the Standard American Diet (SAD) cafeteria in the Davis bldg.

Watch out, the staff does not understand vegan. They put pita bread with cow cheese on top of my bowl. They do understand allergies though, so you might want to claim an allergy to animal products if you're vegan.

Pros: Onsite fresh whole foods, Good prices, Outdoor seating

Cons: Serves meat/dairy, Friendly staff, but don't understand vegan
