Vegan Van Halen! - Edit
I really enjoyed my evening at Wood Fired Shack. They have multiple vegetarian pizza options, all of which can be made vegan, and they have the option to add extra toppings, change the flavour of your pizza base, and add a sauce. I had the vegan version of the Veggie Van Halen, and although it the dough was gorgeous, the flavours on the base were a little bland and could have done with some additional seasoning (perhaps I should have taken the option of having an extra sauce). I also had a Pretty in Pink cocktail, which was really tasty and beautifully presented, and I also had a side of House Fries, which were sensational!
Read moreThe staff member who served us was absolutely lovely, and I appreciated how nicely decorated the inside of the restaurant was. This is a great spot in Bangor for vegans to enjoy good pizza, and they have very active social media presence to keep yourselves updated. I plan on trying WFS again, but next time, I am going to try a different choice of pizza and hopefully enjoy it a little more.
Pros: Lots of Vegan Pizza Choices, Vegan Options Clearly Labelled , Lovely Staff
Cons: No Vegan Dessert

Too hot! - Edit
One starter and one main so not much choice, but we had nowhere else to go because apparently in North Wales in the week, everything is shut.
Read moreThe pizza was tasty enough, even though it was a weird combination of flavours.
The problem was the restaurant was too hot and for some reason they wouldn't open the fully sliding doors, even though we asked.
I would not visit this restaurant again.
Pros: The pizza was good quality , Nice mocktails
Cons: Too hot, Staff not attentive enough , Not enough vegan options

Brilliant vegan pizza - Edit
Welcoming ambience, lovely staff, and the vegan pizza was fabulous! A vegan version of the Bruchetta was great, too, as was the Greek salad with vegan feta. The Wood Fired Shack rescued us from a food desert in Bangor on a Monday evening! Thank you!

Very tasty pizza - Edit
Enjoyable and authentic pizza, fantastic to have vegan option on offer by swapping out regular cheese for vegan mozzarella! A very nice vegan cheese that melted wonderfully. The guacamole was the true star here though, it was creamy and full of flavour!

Amazing vegan pizza - Edit
One of the best vegan pizzas I’ve ever had - the vegan mozzarella melted beautifully and was one of the nicest vegan cheeses I’ve tasted. Staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgable too.
