Nice place for a quick snack - Edit

Lacto vegetarian place that uses dairy and honey. Just need to mention you are Vegan. Most items are made with the option of just excluding cheese or honey as they are not part of the main ingredient.

They offer Vegan soup with bread, sandwich, whole wheat and seeded home home baked bread rolls, raw bars, smoothy, tea and coffee with vegan milk. The prices are reasonable.

I had humus sandwich made from their own bread roll with humus spread cucumber and raw bell pepper. Simple sandwich. Needs more veggies to make it interesting, some grilled veggies would be nice. The humus used is great and the bread is so filling. Sandwich was DKK35.

It has a hostel with Yoga room for those staying. Bed offered with breakfast.

They run ecological Hostel and Cafe. Food waste is composted.

Pros: Vegan options, Affordable food

Cons: Serves milk products, Little options

Decent breakfast close to the train station - Edit

Good value breakfast, perfect when you've got an hour or two between trains. Tiny breakfast buffé opens at 8, mainly for hostel guests, but for 50DKK you can join. Coffe, bread, hommous, jam, muesli, soy milk (and some lakto stuff).

Pros: Close to the train

Cons: Tiny buffe

A hidden gem - Edit

Although this cafe is in a hostel, it is open for everyone, not just guests, and in my opinion provides a nice quiet place to eat as an escape from the bustling city centre which is just a 5 minute walk away. You won't find a main meal here, but the soups, sandwiches and cakes are freshly made, filling and good quality; I would say delicious, and although dairy is used the friendly staff can always point out what is suitable for vegans. I particularly like the freshly baked bread. Prices are reasonable for Copenhagen, credit cards are accepted and free wi-fi is offered.

Pros: location, price, friendly staff

Cons: not fully vegan, small menu
