Best in the area - Edit
Small independent cafe with good vegan options. The menu changed in summer 2023 and has 5 or 6 vegan options for breakfast or lunch.
Read moreThey’ve struggled with staff retention since the pandemic which can mean that wait times are a little long. But be patient, enjoy the chilled atmosphere and maybe have a vegan cake while you are waiting.

Very welcoming - Edit
They were very welcoming offering vegan breakfast and brunch options. We had the vegan toasted sandwich with hummus, spinach , mushroom, tomato and avocado. Also had the hummus dip with pitta. The hummus was truly delicious so much so I asked if it was homemade which it was ( by Katie, simply scrumptious) ! There was oat milk for hot drinks and an option of a vegan cake( a rock cake) , the latter was welcomed because the 3-4 other places we tried in Wadebridge had no vegan cake on offer, not even a vegan flapjack to be had. So thank you Wood and Green cafe !

Best in Wadebridge for lunch options - Edit
Lunch here yesterday was vegan breakfast for me and vegan bagel for OH. They were good plus service is friendly. We've eaten been here before, it's a very reliable place. Yesterday arriving in Wadebridge as hungry cyclists we scoured the town for something different but after a fruitless search yielding nothing better than a hummus sandwich we came back to W&G and choice - yay! Breakfast was £9 which is fair round here.

Looks like a cute place so we stopped for breakfast en route but unfortunately it was closed. Having waited around an hour we had to go elsewhere. Shame.

Basic vegan breakfast - Edit
Staff were lovely and the outdoor pallet seating is nice. Had a pink latte with oat milk, was really good, but very sweet!
Read moreHad the veggie breakfast, which was about £9 and was literally two portobello mushrooms, a pot of beans, some wilted spinach, one halved grilled tomato, two small poached eggs, sourdough toast and butter, with no seasoning on any of it. The vegan breakfast was exactly the same price but without the eggs, and nothing else added.

Nice little cafe - Edit
Nice little cafe, only had outdoor seating when I went, but the sun was shining so outside worked well. I had a vegan full English which was yummy and very filling - they also had a choice of plant milks, vegan cakes, vegan sandwiches and gluten free bread.

Cute little cafe - Edit
Although it also serves meat and dairy there are a good number of vegan choices including vegan milkshakes which are sometimes hard to find. Staff were friendly, helpful with enquiries and vegan aware. It would be nice to see some lighter mains options on the menu as we were too full to try the cake!

Nice little cafe, food is pretty good but expensive. - Edit
As above, good location but it’s so expensive. No vegan cakes, only a cookie and at £3.50 for a small cookie it’s kind of crazy.

Friendly, helpful, tasy - Edit
Visited over the Easter holidays. Very friendly staff, lovely (strong) coffee with soy and coconut, scrumptious cakes and even let me look at their recipe book for inspiration. Highly recommended - especially after a cycle along the Camel Trail.

Warm cuppa - Edit
Travelling out to wade bridge today to do the camel bike ride we were longing for a hot delicous strong coffee.. i ordered a soy late and a soy cappuccino.. both were major flavour flops! There was a mild taste of coffee with a warm taste of froth..

Pros: Quick service, Adorable from the outside, Clean
