FORMERLY (NOW CLOSED): In the middle of town (shopping district) at Barfuesserplatz tram stop, a few stops f/ central train station. Relatively large: > 20 seats outside in pedestrian zone. Excellent waffles, several vegan ice cream types & sauces (dark chocolate...) 🍫 Friendly staff. Can't go wrong here. As everything in Switzerland, it's expensive depending where you come from.

Disappointing - Edit
I came for the vegan waffle, and despite it being clearly marked as an option on their wall and there being a vegan chocolate spread, they told me they couldn't make a vegan waffel because it is too liquidy and they don't have enough flour? I don't understand it. I took some vegan ice cream (only fruit flavours which are most often accidentally vegan) and it was okay.

Vegan waffles every day now - Edit
Sweet vegan food is quite hard to get so this restaurant is a nice change. You get to choose the ingredients of your waffle (specify vegan), including ice cream, and they make it for you. The result looked very nice and tasted pretty good, definitely worth a visit if you're in the mood.

Super tasty vegan waffles with a lot of vegan topping options! They even have vegan ice-cream like chocolate or strawberry. And they also have soy milk for coffee. This place isn’t entirely vegan but the staff is very helpful and well informed
