Has Vegan Options

I strongly recommend Wonder Garden Cafe if you are staying/hiking in the area. In fact, it's probably the easiest place to get a healthy vegan lunch in Twentynine Palms if you're taking a break from hiking in the nearby park. There is a "Wonder Cafe" sandwich, a couple of excellent salads, and a hummus platter. Several of the dishes (like the avocado sandwich) can be made vegan on request. We ate well and felt satisfied. The service was attentive and friendly.

Disappointing

Not a place that should be on the Happy Cow list. There is only one vegetarian-vegan dish! (the sandwich, which tastes good) Other from this it is all meat. The food is non-organic. The place looks nice but turns out to be just your average food cafe with mainstream "American food".

Pros: nice decoration

Cons: only 1 veggie dish, desinterested staff
