No vegan

no longer a dedicated plant based restaurant. There are some vegetarian items on the menu, but no vegan items. I asked the staff if they could veganise the vegetarian items and they said no, because they can’t guarantee its free from egg and dairy.
It’s now called Woka 360 (level 1).

Pros: Nil

Cons: No vegan

Wok on in for some good food

The menu is huge but a lot of it is vegetarian. The wait staff are helpful at pointing out the vegan items.
The sushmi wasn’t quite what I was expecting but was good. The rice was really nice. Popcorn chicken was deep fried and a tasty coating and sweet potato rolls had a crispy outer with a savoury inside quite enjoyable.

Woka Woka Woka (Haha like Pacman)

I really like the atmosphere that this place has.

The food was yummerific! Had my mouth and eyes watering (I put Hot Hot Hot Chili on mine🌶️)

Ordering was a little confusing but the staff were very friendly and helpful in changing or modifying orders to make them vegan. They also checked with the chef to confirm certain things.

Pros: Staff are helpful, Lots of seating

Delicious 😋

I had the cheese ball (veg), pork in gravy with veg (vegan), dumplings and rice. So delicious, I had a food coma after.

Pros: Large serving sizes, knowledgeable staff, clean

Woka Woka Right In

We are longtime fans of the original Woka Woka restaurant and were over the moon when they decided to open a completely vegetarian restaurant. Located in the brand new Sunnybank building, the restaurant is clean and has a lot of seating. While we plan on working our way through the menu, the things we have tried so far have been wonderful. The popcorn chicken is delicious, with an unforgettable coating you'll be thinking about for days! The fried dumplings are a winner and the sweet and sour pork is always on point. If they have wintermelon tea available, don't pass it up. My partner tried the creamy chicken soup (vegetarian, not vegan) which was nice but very heavy on the cream - not for lacto vegetarians who only have a spot of dairy occasionally, it's like a month's worth all at once.

Service is good and fast, helped by the fact it's a physically small restaurant. However customers should be prepared for things to come out in drips and drabs as they become ready (in no particular order) Mains may come before entrees, one person may be without their dish while others have theirs (if not sharing). Recommend ordering a soup if possible because those seem to come out quickly and at least there is something to eat while the other dishes arrive. The restaurant is happy to provide extra crockery so people can share one soup. They could benefit from listing which items are vegan friendly on the menu itself, but otherwise we are excited to have a dedicated vegetarian Woka Woka in Brisbane!

Nice new place

Plenty of vegan options, not marked on menu, but staff knowledgeable and helpful with vegan choices. The sweet and sour "pork", fried lotus root chips, Buddha's Delight (glazed mushrooms), etc, all large servings, all tasty.

Pros: Many vegan options, Large servings, Friendly staff
