Great option for vegan food on the go - Edit
This is a great option for food on the go if you are in Barcelona, my friends wanted to grab a quick McDonald’s, and I have found that European McDonald’s has very limited (if any) vegan food - so popped into Wok to Walk for some noodles.
Read moreSuper affordable, tasty and convenient. The staff also understood veganism and all the food was clearly labelled.

Muchas opciones veganas, ya que le quitan el huevo si lo pides de antemano.

Sin embargo, a medida que añades extras se encarece el precio. Es un poco caro, en relación calidad-precio

Way too expensive for what you get - Edit
It says you pay around 5€ but for this price you only get a base of rice or pasta. For every other ingredient you have to pay extra money. That leads to paying around 10€ for only a few addings.

Packed - Edit
I finally decided to go in here, as this location seems to stay packed at all hours of the day/night. The woman taking my order was very helpful. She assumed I was a ‘vegana’ and informed me that the sauce I chose has some fish sauce in it (although you’d never assume the Bangkok sauce did based on the description). She recommended a vegan sauce for me and automatically put in the order without egg. The food was just okay, but the service was great.

Great fast food - Edit
After reading the reviews on here we were quick to advise “no egg” for our orders and were responded with “Vegan?” I had rice with tofu and veg with a teriyaki sauce, my husband chose the garlic and pepper sauce and was told straight away it wasn’t Vegan so changed to the sweet and sour. Food really lovely and not too expensive considering it was on La Ramblas.

really good - Edit
We had wicked vegan noodles w tofu and a bunch of veggies and good vegan sauces- lots of different options. Definitely have to tell the cook right away “no egg” bc otherwise they’ll add it by default. Thought it was a little pricey for what you got but not terrible

Nice fast food now and then, not very healthy - Edit
The main advantage of this wok restaurant is the fast and easy customisation, although the amount.of vegan sauce-choices isn't great. The food is very oily and a large portion is filler low-Q veggies (shredded cabbage/carrot etc). If you ask them to omit the filler veggies and go for the other things then it's fairly ok-tasting fast food, although you can feel you arteries clogging up...

Great for vegans - Edit
We got lunch here and also passed by the location on other days - each time the queue was out the door, showing how popular the concept is. As a previous review has noted, the woks are scrubbed out between each order so you don't need to worry about cross contamination. Good choice of ingredients for vegans, portions were large, tasty and filling. Staff taking the orders spoke English too. Definitely recommended for a reasonably priced meal on the go.

It is a lovely place. It is easy to order, btw you have to specify you do not want eggs, and you get your food very quickly. The staff is nice and fast to serve you. You can see your food being cooked in front of you, what is very cool. I would definitely reccommend to eat here, the food is good and cheap.

I've eaten here twice with my husband. We both really enjoyed the selection and it was great to find Tofu so easily somewhere that serves meat. Pricey for additional toppings but the basic noodles, tofu and sauce was perfect. Egg left out on request

Fresh, fast and filling - Edit
A great concept on fresh fast food probably typical of the street food places in the Far East and Orient. First of all you choose a type of rice or noodle (egg, rice or Udon noodles & white or whole grain rice all with vegetables and egg as optional). Second choice is to pick a main filling. The vegetarian ones are tofu, shitake mushrooms, regular mushrooms, cashew nuts, broccoli or pineapple. Thirdly you decide which sauce you would like this prepared in (teriyaki, yellow curry, sweet & sour, garlic lack pepper, oyster, hot asia or peanut). Once this has been chosen it is flash fried in a large gas flamed wok and it is ready in minutes. The hygeine is excellent as the woks are washed and scrubbed with water after each meal then heated to evaporate off the water. There are a number of these in Barcelona, check the website for details. I spotted at least 3. They are very very popular and at €4.90 for the basic option (rice or noodles & vegetables with sauce) it is clear to see why.

the healthy choice - Edit
This restaurant was a great find! I knew wok to walk because i tried it once i was in Amsterdam so when i found out they had restaurants in Barcelona too i was pretty excited. This is the perfect place to go if you're on a budget holiday, you wanna eat something healthy or don't have much time. If you're vegan you can either have rice noodle or whole wheat noodle and ask to have them without egg. Then you can add some tofu, mixed vegetables, and fried onion. You can also add some free sauce if you wish. My bf and i had dinner at wok to walk in Jaume for 2 nights, as we found everything delicious and a really friendly staff. Servings were huge.
Read moreThe restaurant is quite small but you can also choose to take away your meal and have it on the street. I'd definitely reccomend wok to walk.
Pros: cheap, healthy, friendly staff
Cons: small
