Vegan-friendly, or vegan-UNfriendly? - Edit

I only went to Wohnzimmer once, about six months ago to meet a friend for a coffee, only to find that they were charging 50 cents extra for soya milk!

50 cents, really?! I saw the soya milk they were using - it was the cheapest one available in any supermarket, ninety-something cents for a litre. And here, they charge 50 cents for one shot of it.

Surely that's vegan-unfriendly, to see that people have an ethical problem with torturing animals, and then charge them so much extra for it? If it was 5 cents I wouldn't mind so much (though I'd wonder why all coffees couldn't be 5 cents higher to cover the cost).

A shame, really, as it seemed a nice place otherwise.

Pros: nice location

Cons: profiteering from compassion
