Website - Edit

Disappointing experience. I checked the menu online and when I got I was informed that almost nothing is available. To be clear, it was not sold out. Please update the website!

All vegan and yummy - Edit

I had a delicious fresh bagel, generously filled. Very friendly and helpful staff. Don't follow Google Maps. It's on the main road- leave station, turn right.

Pros: Small and friendly.

Cons: disposable cups used for drinking in. sad waste.

Lovely little cafe - Edit

Tasty food and very friendly staff.

When i pass Clapham junction i often drop in to pick up a hazelnut hot chocolate, which is absolutely divine! And you get a choice of milk. Be sure to take a stirring stick though, as it is never really mixed well.

Very much enjoyed the bagels, lasagne and salad bar as well (have not tried anything else yet). Though a little pricy for what it is, it is a nice place to stop for lunch. (Hot chocolate about the same price as in your regular chain cafes)

Clever layout means there is optimum seating for its very tiny size. Though would be awkward to go there for lunch in a group larger than 3.

Log in to Wandsworth wifi for free.

Pros: Plenty choice, Friendly staff, lots of milk options

Cons: food is pricey , closed on Saturdays

Handy for the station - Edit

Handy little cafe just by Clapham Junction station. Open until 8pm most days so I popped in after work. They also open early so you can pick up your morning coffee.
The lasagne was packed with veggies and I opted to have mixed side salad which was interesting.
The staff were friendly and we chatted whilst I tried to decide what to have.

Pros: Location - right by Clapham Junction , Choices (sweet and savoury), Opening hours

Cons: Limited seating

Nice Little Non-Pretentious Cafe - Edit

I had a very different experience to VeganCannibal. The staff were friendly and passionate about veganism and they took the time to talk me through the menu.

I had a coffee, croissant and took away a slice of quiche. It was all good. The quiche wasn't cheap at £4.50, but it was substantial and packed with quality ingredients.

The prices are reasonable for an independent cafe and, although the inside is small, it's a cafe (as per its name) not a restaurant. I liked it.

Pros: Independent, vegan cafe - you don't see many, Tasty, healthy, vegan food, Friendly staff

Disappointing for their reason to be vegan - Edit

Of all the lovely places I've been to it's disappointing to find a vegan place that doesn't care about veganism and has cold customer service. I visited in March 2017 and all they had left at the time (not even near closing time) was a tiny, well overpriced salad to eat. The place seemed to be one of those trendy places which think the label "vegan" will appeal to a hipster customer who is vegan for a fashionable reason. This area really needs a vegan place desperately and I wanted this cafe to be a good one but sadly it isn't. I would give one star if I could. Anyone living in SW London, travel to other places in HC until Clapham area gets a decent place (or this one magically improves)

Pros: Hot chocolate was good, Location near the station

Cons: Staff didn't care about animals after a brief chat, Expensive , Lack of much to eat at the time of visit

Handy Vegan Cafe - Edit

A great little pitstop to recharge batteries. A good selection of hot drinks with plant based milk choices. Clean and friendly.
