Good Vegan Grocery Selection

If shopping for vegan essentials in Chesterton, I would first go to Sprout's groceries in the Saw Grass Marketplace (across Rt. 49 from the Wiseway). Sprouts has items Wiseway doesn't have. Then hit Wiseway for everything else you need.

I find that Sprouts has a lot of the cutting edge, new products like Sweet n Sara marshmallows, Tempt ice cream bars, Upton's Naturals, etc. That said, Wiseway has a lot of products Sprouts doesn't have like a huge selection of Amy's frozen dinners, Cedar Lane, Boca burgers, Morning Star Farms, LiteLife, coconut milks, countless varieties of soy milk, kombuchas, etc. Both places have Daiya cheese.

Note that the Wiseway on Rt. 30 in Valparaiso is the best around. They have a huge (and recently expanded) selection of veg*n groceries, organics and international foods. This Wiseway in Chesterton is not as good, but they're close.
