Organics Cave - Edit
NOTE: Wiseway sold. It's now called Strach & VanTil's. They're undergoing a major remodel at this location and the vegan & organic items are pretty unorganized. I'll update my review again when the dust settles.
Old review:
This Wiseway has an "Organics Cave" in the back of the store. That's what I call it anyway. In the cave, there's a decent selection of vegan and vegetarian products. They have Daiya cheese, veggie dogs, soy sausage, seitan, Amy's frozen products, vegan ice cream, etc.
The Calumet location works in a pinch, but if you have the choice you're better off going to the mothership of Wiseways on Rt. 30 in Valpo. That store has a *huge* organics isle with an amazing selection of all different kinds of vegan cheeses, products, frozen entrees, canned and dry goods.
Whatever you do, you can skip the Town and Country grocery store at Calumet and Glenview. T&C's vegan food section consists of 5 packs of veggie dogs. It's really pathetic. Go to Wiseway instead.
