Only one mediocre vegan option - Edit
I saw this place on HC and I had reservations because the five or so vegan options on the online menu looked either unexciting or like they’d need major modification. The reviews were good though so I made the journey to try it. When I got there I saw the current menu only had *one* option, the corn fritters, which came with bacon. The friendly person serving me spoke to the chef, who agreed to replace said animal flesh with either an extra fritter or roasted tomatoes, of which I chose the latter. The dish was a reasonable size for the typical cafe price of $18.50. However, not only was there little flavour to it other than the sweet tomato relish, but the fritters were also quite doughy. This was the disappointment I’d been hoping to avoid, and to be fair to the previous reviewer, perhaps I should’ve taken notice.

The cafe itself is well decorated and the staff is lovely.

My reason for two star would be mainly the dead mouse found in the corridor in front of the kitchen opening leading to the toilet.... which no one seems to have noticed though it was literally in the middle of the hallway....!!!!
Pros: Some vegan options, Great chai latte, Nice friendly and welcoming staff
Cons: Slightly expensive for what it is, Dead mouse in the corridor, DEAD MOUSE in the corridor!!!!

Staff so lovely and food so delicious - Edit
I ordered a porridge that was a special of the day and it was so yummy. There were lots of options and dishes that could be easily made vego or vegan. The staff were so sweet and I met the owner who seemed so passionate about what she does.

Excellent brunch - Edit
Had the corn fritters which were to die for and so filling. Service was excellent and the back patio is a wonderful spot to hang out while you enjoy your breakfast.
