We found the more original dishes to be more satisfying than the substitutes for classic German dishes (eg vegan meatballs on sweet potato mash with peanut sauce was more exciting than the somewhat dry tempeh schnitzel). Amazing food , If you want to taste traditional german cuisine in cruelty free this is the place to go. They use mostly local and bio products. Portion sizes are on point. Dont miss the fantastic desserts either.

We stopped here on our trip along the motorway instead of risking service station food. Very happy we did - excellent quality, huge portions, friendly service and easy parking! Food includes bio and even some Demeter. Plenty of options for soft or alcoholic drinks.

I just called there and wanted to reserve a table for four adults plus two toddlers. Turns out: They do not have a baby chair and don't want to spend EUR 20 to buy one at Ikea because "we don't need it, but you can bring one" (no joke). I told her that she is wrong because her clients need it. She did not get my point.

I went there two or three times now and I definitely will go there again. The menu card varies from season to season; they always offer tasteful and interesing creations. It's more than just "Let's take a regular dish and substract the non-vegan parts of it" (some restaurants think like this). They got something for every taste.

Ausgezeichnetes veganes Restaurant - Edit
Wir haben extra einen Umweg nach Offenburg gemacht, um hier zu essen und das war es definitiv wert! Die Karte ist übersichtlich, aber bietet sehr leckere Optionen. Ganz billig ist es nicht, dafür sind Qualität und Geschmack erstklassig! Ich hatte als Vorspeise sehr leckere frittierte Kürbiswürfel mit Auberginencreme und auch die Hauptspeise - Spätzle mit sauren Linsen und Räuchertofu - war zum Reinlegen. Sogar mein Papa, der Essen eher skeptisch gegenübersteht, war begeistert. Die Bedirnung war auch sehr nett und das Essen war schnell da. Schade, dass ich so weit weg wohne, sonst würde ich liebend gern wiederkommen!

Now Offenburg has its own place for high class vegan cuise. The menu is small and the meal descriptions are very honest without too much embellished words. What you then get served is simply amazing. It looks very stunning. The taste is exceptional. The drinks menu is pretty large. Almost everything is on board. The ambience could be a bit more cozy. Some spotlight or candles could do the trick.
