Had dinner here before a concert at Madison Square Garden. Easy 14 minute walk. We ordered the calamari, truffle Mac n cheese, the French onion soup, chik sandwich, eggplant lasagna, lemon pepper steak, and a flatbread. Also chocolate ice cream and great coffee!

Solid 4.5. We enjoyed everything we ordered and the staff were very friendly. I really loved the French onion soup. The cauliflower wings and truffle mac were also notable .

Fantastic meal with excellent efficient service. A great (vegan) meal - one of the very best. Calamari was, well, better than calamari. Steak (special, with peppercorns) was better than steak. And cacio e pepe was delicious. Recommend!

Calamari!!!! - Edit
I’m don’t usually go for vegan imitations of carnivore dishes. But Willow sure does them well! Of special note were the pastrami sandwich, French onion soup, and calamari. Very impressive!

Cute space, yummy food - Edit
Clam chowder was creative but broth not as thick as expected, still pretty good; philly cheese steak was awesome, especially if you like mushrooms. And grand finale was the cheesecake, perhaps the best vegan cheesecake I’ve ever had! I will definitely be back.

Clean, Friendly, and Fast - Edit
1st time here. It’s NYC so for all of you travelers, parking is always an issue. Many tables available in this clean and inviting space. Menu has plenty of options to choose from. I ordered my food, used the restroom, sat down, and my food was ready. Crazy fast. Started with Willow “crab” cakes. The jackfruit wakame gave the cakes a nice texture. The chipotle sauce was a nice addition. Three cakes ($15). I moved onto the Caesar Salad. Very nice serving size. I selected the five spice tofu. With the size of this salad, I will ask for more dressing next time. Finished up with Buttermilk Fried Chick’n Sandwich. Nice serving size. Out of the three things I ordered, this is one I am looking forward to repeating. The one disappointing thing was the hand cut fries with garlic and parsley - basic fries and hardly any garlic. Food was good enough for me to come back again. I will try other items on the menu.

A recent trip to NYC was made better by eating here! Eggplant lasagna was to die for. Also good were the crab cakes and buffalo cauliflower wings.

Beautiful food, flavors hit and miss - Edit
Everything looks annexing, some stuff is a bit bland. So I think it depends on what you get. The cacio e pepe was so so. The Buffalo cauliflower wings were spot on. Lovely atmosphere.

Best dessert!!! - Edit
This place has been on my list to visit since it opened. As a huge fan of Beyond sushi I was so excited to check out what they offer. I tried the Mac and cheese and calamari and while it was yummy, it truly was not my favorite. The real star of the show was the red velvet cake. I loved that they had a cream cheese frosting. It honestly elevated the cake itself. It hit the spot and it is the only reason why I can give this place 5 stars. The food was good but was not the best in my opinion. With that being said I would definitely come back and try their other items!

A New Favorite - Edit
Discovered on HappyCow, this place is the best I've had in NYC yet. Most of the vegan options I tried during a work trip were not too impressive; this was the exception.

Delicious!!! - Edit
Made a reservation as we were in town for one night only. The food was incredible. My omnivore dinner companion thought my “chicken” sandwich must have actual chicken in it to taste so good. I thought his steak and cheese was to die for. The “crab” cakes (made with jackfruit if memory serves) were incredible. While it was tough getting seated, even with a reservation, the service was wonderful. It was also incredibly reasonably priced for the quality in NYC!

Ambience is too nice - Edit
I enjoyed Willow very much. I partner and I slipped in here on a cold day and felt well attended, comfortable and solid. We shared some plates.
Read moreBeing plant based, we usually enjoy clean dishes and prep them at home. This day we wanted to have some fun ordering out of the ordinary things that were similar treats to before our PB transition. ^_^
Truffle Mac & Cheeze
Balsamic 21
New England Clam Chowder
These were some of the things we shared alongside a coconut, celery & honeydew juice. Which was fantastic, well balanced and refreshing.
The Balsamic 21 was so up my alley of flavor profiles I love. I love savory alongside sweet. Just delicious. This flatbread was a hit in my opinion. It was a good side, too. My boyfriend had the clam chowder and was obsessed. They nailed the texture and the flavor profiles just right. Missing it. Wish I could have it now. Lastly, we agreed the truffle Mac was “aight”. We thought they could’ve put more love into it. I compared it to Daiya Mac & cheese with accessories. Therefore I wouldn’t order this again and replace it with something else that I am no doubt knowing will be just as amazing as the rest.
Pros: ALL VEGAN, Cool ambience, Good sized dishes
