Vegan Yoga Training Group - Edit
Next month, there is a large group of Vegans coming to Willka T’ika. Although the menu is vegetarian and has catered to Vegans fo 28 years, it would be great to get some new recipes. Especially since this group will be here for 3 weeks. If anyone has any suggestions, please contact the retreat center.

The best fresh and creative farm-to-table vegetarian food - Edit
I had the opportunity to stay at Willka T'ika for a few weeks during which I practiced yoga, meditation, and dined in the restaurant daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The kitchen is entirely vegetarian, fresh from the gardens of Willka T'ika, and both healthy and delicious. Each night there is a four course meal of soup, salad, main course, and dessert, and they are healthy and creative with authentic Andean-inspired touches. Some of my favorites are the Andean sweet potato and lentil soup, the quinoa patties with mango salsa, the tarwi salad, and the vegan and raw chocolate mousse cake. The chefs are also happy to accommodate vegan or gluten-free dietary restrictions. After a few weeks of staying at Willka T'ika and eating in the restaurant, I feel healthy, refreshed, and more energized than i have in months! I highly recommend staying at Willka T'ika, whether it is a week-long retreat, or just a single night stay.

Apparently the restaurant is only for the resort's guests - Edit
I can confirm that Willka T'ika Luxury Wellness Retreat is still operating as of September 2016. It isn't cheap, but it is beautiful, is very eco-friendly, and serves 100% vegetarian meals (including organic produce from its own garden) with vegan options available on request.
Read moreNote that their website (www.willkatika.com) states that it is "open only to its registered guests," so it seems it may not be possible just to drop in for a meal.

Hola! Yes, Willka T'ika has been serving organic, vegetarian (and vegan) meals to its guests since 1994. Soon there will be a new "Mate Wasi" cafe and tea house which will serve vegetarian pizza. This will be open to the public. You will also be able to take a tour of the medicinal plant garden and pick your own herbs to make healing teas.

Beautiful place - Edit
As part of our trip to Peru, we were lucky enough to be able to spend the night at Willka Tika. The resort is truly an oasis in the Sacred Valley. The grounds are so beautiful! The food is vegetarian, but they will gladly accomodate vegans. We had the whole resort to ourselves except for one other couple on their honeymoon. We all enjoyed the quinoa soup, salad, ratatouille like vegetable entree and delicious baked apples for dessert. As it was winter, the main room had a roaring fire and the staff placed hot water bottles in our rooms while we ate. The staff are extremely friendly and hospitable. I wish we could have spent more time there! Willka Tika also hosts groups for yoga and various other holistic programs.
